Re: Anti-Fog Shooting Glasses Recommendation
When diving masks fogged, we would spit in them, rub it around, then quick rinse. At least it's always available and free. It sounds like his glasses fit too tightly. Yeah spitting on the glasses at the range, might not be the easiest / classiest solution. I believe we sprayed some mask anti-fog on...

Anti-Fog Shooting Glasses Recommendation
My 13yr old son's shooting glasses were fogging up massively yesterday during practice, and really throwing him off his game (I finally had him shoot without, but always feel nervous about that at public range, where any manner of debris can fly back). I am looking to see what folks recommend, in te...

Re: Stock Set-up Questions
This was my son's first outing with his new to him 1403 (after shooting an Anschutz Junior Achiever for 2 years), so we are still figuring out the new sizing etc. for him... Still working on what works best sling/handstop/butt plate wise for him. http://www.biggerhammer.net/smallbore/Enzzo_Anschutz_...

Re: Stock Set-up Questions
This a great thread, and am still trying to wrap my head around how my son is positioning himself etc.
How does the butt-plate positioning play into all of this for prone/kneeling/standing.. Is there a general guideline/formula/anecdote on how it should fit and feel?

Re: Rear sight for 3P on Anschutz 64 Match
Posted the same question to Rimfirecentral, and the response kind of confirmed my gut level, so I have ordered a Gehmann rear sight for this gun.

Rear sight for 3P on Anschutz 64 Match
Just bought the following gun for my 13yr old son who shoots Smallbore with the Dade County Juniors and the Hollywood Gun Club, as he is/has outgrown the Junior Achiever we have checked out from the club, and is too small for the 1410 that I also have. Gun looks very minty, but is missing the rear s...

Re: Removing epoxy from an ergonomic grip
Based on experience with boat parts, you are going to have to grind/sand it off.... That said, Epoxy doesn't like heat - so you might be able to weaken it by taking it up to 350-450 degrees - only question is will the wood like that. Before heating it up, I would also apply acetone to the Epoxy (soa...

Re: Moving powder, primers in summer heat
The big issue with powder and primers, is temp changes that suck in humidity etc. and affect the materials.. I would separate the the two from each other, throw some desicant in the container, and party on.
