Re: Morini 200EI doesn't want to work anymore
If you haven't tried it, and haven't sent the board back, I would swap in a new, non-rechargeable battery. Electronics can be fickle, and I've seen batteries cause weird behaviors...

No US men in the 2024 Olympic 10m AP. Country did not earn a spot.

Re: How much less accurate is the Steyr LP50 due to the trigger?
I shoot a Morini 200 EI and an LP50 with a heavy trigger for Bullseye sustained fire training. The difference in trigger is pretty stark. I suppose you could get used to it, but if my focus was 10m, I'd go with the LP2 or LP10 hands down.

Re: Interpreting Targets — Rings of 9s
I would argue that it's possible you're still snatching at shots, IF you're shot process is trigger focused vs. sight alignment focused. If you're allowing your subconscious to aim, it's possible you're making the shot break early before your wobble passes through the center, rather than letting the...

Surely Dick Horton could help. He's active on the bullseye forum:

Re: 32 ACP - "Flash in the Pan"?
I know of several 32 acp shooters (bullseye) who stopped shooting 32 due to scores plateauing. They found that while their CF scores went up, their 45 scores dropped more. I think this mostly had to do with grip angle vs recoil. Because of this, a lot of the guys I shoot with (especially ex-military...

Re: Should I Attend Winter Air Gun Championships - Camp Perry?
Tim, I'll be at Camp Perry. I'd highly recommend going. At the very least, you see how things work so you'll be more comfortable at your first match in January. But honestly, you should just compete. Nobody really cares what anyone else shoots, unless you're at the pointy end of the stick. The exper...

Re: .22 Ammo For Free Pistols That Won't Stick in Chamber?
Coincidentally, I also had the issue where the SK wouldn't fully eject. As you said, only 3-4mm, but I also found it not too problematic. I didn't really count that as an "issue"!

Quite happy with mine. I've probably got somewhere between 12K and 15K pellets through the barrel. No issues at all. I would certainly purchase again!

Re: New Series of Walther Target Pistols: CSP
Yes, just thinking about a single purchase starter pistol. A 1911 conversion is often recommended, but then you have to go down the route of finding a lower, tuning, etc. Having a 1911 grip on a 22 that you don't have to fool with (nor buy separately) would be appealing to many people, I think.

Re: New Series of Walther Target Pistols: CSP
This is just a rebranded Xesse, right? Annoying that the 1911-ish model has no rails and a non adjustable trigger. Could be a nice starter gun for folks getting into bullseye.
