Re: Loading a pistol - when?
you can look on youtube, on the ISSF channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/issfchannel/videos), at all the finals - the 5 shots series, where shots are fired one after the other without waiting for commands. you will see that all athletes load right after the previous shot and than start preparing ...

Re: Everyday eyeglass wearers and Varga/Knobloch
You can fit two lenses to shooting glasses if you want to. Otherwise you can ask for a standard pair with the lens centre in the optimal place for shooting, whether you really need this depends a bit on your stance. For Police/WA1500 I do fine with my last set of reading glasses without correcting t...

Re: How do I make friends at the range?
Get a really big gun, with aftermarket extended magazines if possible, ideally which are no longer available legally. Get the most powerful ammunition you can, handload heavier loads if necessary Blast away, preferably from the hip, don't worry if you can't hit the target, in fact save time and targ...

Re: Lifting above the target?
As I understand it muscles are stronger and more stable when lowering than raising. For this reason you're better off releasing the shot as you lower than when you're trying to remain level. Lower lower lower lower looowwwwwwer release works an awful lot better than Lower, too far - raise, too high ...

Re: Stolen stuff
The OP was confusing
If the plan was to post a picture "This was stolen from me and this person is using it" this can open up all kinds of problems.

Re: Pardini conversion kit or two separate guns?
I got tired of adjusting sights between standard and rapid, so I bought two .22s, SP and RF (I did want the RF slide) If I wanted a .32 I'd get an extra gun. Pardini barrels don't go on consistently I think, the contact area is quite small, screw torque probably has an impact. Swapping regularly wil...

Re: Stolen stuff
If you're saying your guns have been stolen and they're being used by someone else that could be construed as defamation, slander, whatever the local word is.
So pilkguns could get sucked into a court case. Its up to them as site owners if they want to risk it.

Bear in mind some wood finishing materials do cause skin problems, they aren't all suitable.

Re: Is any crimp required for wadcutter bullet reloading?
With wadcutters - soft lead hollow base wadcutters - most of the effect on accuracy is from case-bullet interference. Case-bullet interference needs to be right, ie not loose and not so tight it changes the bullet dia. I think this can change of time - older loads often seem to have a lower velocity...

Take off the worst filth with some fine steel wool, maybe scrub off the rest and refinish with tung oil and citrus solvent.
Not sure if just citrus solvent will clean it up.

Re: AP with straight back trigger rather than pinned
Sliding joints are a whole lot harder to make smooth than a rotating pin.

Re: Olympic Pistol Grips
Pistol trigger must "Lift" the weight. Then "they" bounce it a bit & it must discharge air. Local advice seems to be a "bounce" is inappropriate, EC should press the trigger or weight with a finger to set it off. I'm surprised a horizontal trigger check hasn't been...

what about this one? Almost 1/3 of the price of Corami. https://buinger.com/Gehmann-shooting-boots-for-air-pistol I have those, they're OK for the price, could use more heel lift. I have wide feet, these are sort of medium, I took a few sizes up and they worked out OK Normally with New Balance trai...
