Krale USA?

Does anyone know if Krale is still shipping product from a location in the USA? IIRC, they used to ship some product from a location in Montana.
Tks in advance.

Re: Hammerli AP20 Pro Problem?

The rattle when you shake it is the striker. It is free when not cocked. The striker spring is slightly shorter than the tunnel which allows a little bit of free play for the striker to move. My Hammerli 480, and my Steyrs can make that noise when tilted back and forth. I think you nailed it regardi...

Re: Hammerli AP20 Pro Problem?

I have purchased a brand new Hammerli AP20 Pro a couple of days ago. I noticed this morning that the pistol makes a rattling noise when it is moved around. It sounds like a loose screw banging around in the internals. The noise goes away when the pistol is cocked but it always comes back very notic...

Re: Source in US For Walther Slimline Short Cylinder?

Received the compact Walther slimline air cylinder today from Dave at Sport Shooting Depot one week after ordering it. Excellent price and service. Changes the balance enough that my aging body can better stabilize the air pistol.

Re: Hand Swelling in AP

Humidity, health, diet, and exercise all play a role. [snip] How to deal with it? Maintain a regular diet 24 to 72 hours before shooting. (Caffeine and alcohol intake should be considered, and reduced/eliminated if it changes your shooting.) Regular water intake helps to 'level off' some of the int...

It's likely not indicative of heart/circulatory issues, but it can be depending on the amount of edema. Best to have your physician check it out, especially if you're of a certain age. That said, if you are retired and rely on Medicare, the annual "wellness" check will not ordinarily inclu...

Re: Walther Grip Size

I've attached the latest version of my grip size chart. There's no guarantee the various vendors haven't tweaked things, but it's more complete than any other reference I've found. Additions & corrections always welcome. Grip Sizes Ver 3.xls Thanks. I can attest to he accuracy of the Walther si...

Re: Those Little Successes

Doing PET for the Canadian Airgun Grand Prix today and my last target was a 97. Then I realized that the last five shots were all inner tens, so I tied my personal best number of consecutive inner tens. Nice. Is there a site listing pretty much all Canadian AP matches? I'm a mere 45 miles from the ...

Re: Pellet storage boxes

I've been using an H&N Finale Match Box for the past twelve years. You can load pellets individually or use it as a shaker box to fill it with 100 pellets. I've seen similar boxes for sale on several sites.

Re: You wanna buy WHAT?

Kind of odd, but I had an Alfa Proj that I loved and shot my best score with, a 556 IIRC back around 2011. It was also a pain in that the built in air cylinder only held around 80 shots per fill. I loved the balance of the Alfa Proj. It did not hold up well over time and I then went to a FWB Picolo ...

I came across Rover's post on another thread suggesting that a strip of 2" masking tape on the back of the target helps greatly. It does. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Improving Garbage National Paper Targets?

Some sort of backer can do miraculous things. I usually just double-up bad targets with a second, used target (stagger the position so you're not just shooting through the same hole). I've had others swear by the postage-paid return mailers they get in magazines and other junk mail. Often it doesn'...
