Re: FWB sight random malfuntions
TMP, your description of the design is spot on. I feel like there may have been something binding in the sight. After pushing the iris back and forth several times the sight began to respond better. I sprayed out the housing with computer canned air and lightly lubricated the sliders inside the rear...

FWB sight random malfuntions
Over the past month, my son has reported "sight doesnt work" several different times. We have 2 FWB 800x rifles and a 2700 Supermatch SB rifle all equipped with the factory sights. While at Anniston's CMP Monthly Match in March, in the 3x20 Air Rifle match, he broke position in prone to te...

Re: Air rifle “must have” accessories
You will soon learn to hate that handpump! I ended up buying a scuba tank to recharge the cylinder(s). I get it filled at my local Fire Dept. As long as it has a current Hydro Test Cert (every 5 years) they should have no issues with filling it for you. Paint ball courses can also fill them .

Re: Best .264? 6.5 Creedmoor vs. 6.5x47 Lapua
.264 LBC (Les Baer Custom) SP? removes the compound shoulder angle to a single angle in the shoulder. 6.5 CM ammo shoots from this chambering too so factory ammo is also available and after it's shot is fire formed for reloading.

Re: Hitex Tecno Shirt Sizing and Thoughts
These are thinner than the average sweater so they work well in hot ranges (Fort Benning GA). Padding is also slim. They are pretty good quality and take alot of wear. My son has 2 of them as the first one lasted about a year before the zipper failed (too many washes/dryer cycles). Machine wash but ...

Re: Visor Touching with Rear sight
We just finished the Spring Selection Match at Ft. Benning and the rule for visors was spelled out by the head RO as they must see light between the sight and visor or it will DQ the shooter or at least deduct points. When looked at with head straight the visor should appear level with the ground. I...

Re: Scatt Basic - your take
DavZ, Which section do you have issue with in calibrate mode? And, what target set up are you using? When we got ours, it wouldn't calibrate using the paper target. (I also hated the OEM mount and got a Tec Hro UI rail mount to attatch the SCATT to the accessory rail of the rifle) until I got ALOT o...

Re: Scatt Basic - your take
I have one and it serves a pupose with Air rifle. Not sure about small bore yet. The trace element is most valuable. Actual shot placement is not 100% accurate. a 10 will show as a high 9. move the shot to correct location and it will still be off just a touch so dont use it for a e target replaceme...

Re: Sporter to Precision Jump
My son started in precision rifle in 8th grade. The high school team starts them out on Anschutz club rifles. As they progress into freshman/2nd year shooters, and if the scores look progressive, they move on to better rifles. Most all the gear the school has are Gherman or CC. Good begining gear bu...

Re: Air rifle sweaty hands NRA rules question?
Almost every student shooter on my son's team wear a trigger hand glove. I started him on the Kurt Thune glove but it rode up the palm when shooting. He now wears CS glove and loves it. Also, the grip of both his rifles are made textured (like 220 grit) from FWB factory. His Small bore Rifle came wi...

Re: FWB sight rail conversion
Thank you for helping a newbie! I'll look those up tonight. On the same subject but different rifle, I have discovered through a few observations lately that I will also need risers for his 2700 FWB SM too. maybe theseyou mentioned will help there too.

FWB sight rail conversion
My Son has an 2017 FWB800x and he dislikes the Vario Sight it came with. I want to buy the Tec Hro precise rear sight but the FWB Rail version is backordered forever it seems. Are there risers that will convert the OEM FWB rear sight rail dove tail to an Anschutz deminsion rail? Or a replacement rai...
