Personally as a newbie shooter myself, I thought about getting to a competition with only having 3 months practice, but I did it anyway, and have done it since, as everybody says nothig can prepare you for it and they're right. My scores started 476, 488, and now 511, right now I'm training for a to...

My results....
Well, I've just come from the tournament, and happily I've gone up again in my score, it started with 476 on my first tournament (about a month ago) 488 (about a week ago) and 511 (today) 600.4 with final. I decided to do it as everyone says (concentrating on the sights) differing from my last time ...

to Fred Manis: I do not train this way, when I was training I did not expect or got nervous because I didn´t get any 10´s so it wasn´t because I was nervous in training that I didn´t get them. I conciously chose to regres IN the match so I could get 10´s. JackH that is what I have been doing, but my...

I feel that Albert B hit the nail with what he said, that is exactly what I felt. While concentrating on just the sights I tend to wobble ALLOT more than when I saw the bullseye. After all that I even got my score up by 13 points. So it as I said got me lost. I think one of the major problems is my ...

well to have an update I just came from a match tonight. After knowing what my group was on practice I chose 10 shots for practice before actually starting the match. I divided it into 2, one group (the first one) I tried to shoot as I have read (concentrating on the sights and not the bullseye), re...

What to do?
Recently, since trying to ACTUALY look at the sights and not at the target while shooting, I have a better group than before, but now I am less capable of getting 10´s, 1 or 2 per 30 shots. I haven´t been able to keep planing my training because of work(before I had a plan diverted in 3 days, grip, ...

Being a newbie on Air pistols (and never really shooting a firearm in my life just a mag on a .45 once) it would be good if people explain how much recoil are they talking about. For example after reading some threads here about AP not having recoil it would be interesting to define the recoil every...

LOL not shying away in any way I like the LP10 (I've seen the silver ones and fell in love, though I haven't been able to look and touch one), but its always healthy to look at everything that's out there. Also I'm very visualy oriented and I hate the natural color of most of the handles (even if th...

CDF: well talking of seals, can it be replaced by me or do you have to send it back? There IS a problem here with service and parts, since most of it isn't sold here.
Interesting point. So it would be better to go for a Steyr or a morini, since it would be easier to find parts or send it for service?

About Air pistol models..
I´ve been looking for reviews on other kinds (besides the Steyr and Morini, since I´ve read some threads here to inform myself with) of AP like the FWB P40. I also know there are other brands like Pardini (wich I´ve seen some on the range) I´ve been on google for a while now and find very scant obje...

About the recoil part. I feel It is partly true, the FWB C20 I train with has a kind of recoil but only noticeable sometimes. I haven't been able to notice how to grip it so it can be controlable, or is it just my mind? I saw today that even if my hand was kind of trembly I could control the recoil ...

To CDF: Guns available? to be Honest haven't looked really hard, alhtough our culture is gun friendly, its mostly firearms and not really air pistols. Most of the stuff you see are what I would call Hobby guns and rifles. From what I know most people buy the guns outside the country (its cheaper and...

Thanx, I've been reading some of them. I went to the range today and after some practice I feel I need to dedicate it more serious time. Although most of my shots ARE inside the bullseye I still cannot get a concise (sp?) grouping. And again because of a international (latin american) championship t...
