Midwestern Academy
Russ. is a great shooter and a very patient coach. He helped me score my first 90% and introduced me to shooting 9mm as well. A weekend spend with the Mid Western Academy will be well worth the time and money--fly South West to Detroit and stay in an affordable hotel (Great Western is very clean). I...

Scatt and Rika target systems
What is the difference between the Scatt and the Rika systems? They both seem to cost about the same. Does either work on an Apple? Also, surprised in the age of Nintendo Wii that there is not a lower grade, more affordable system that I can adopt to air pistol. Lack a 30 foot stretch in the house a...

I have studied with Ruslan twice and seen remarkable improvments in my AP scores. Ruslan introduced me to my first 9mm pistol and I have added this to my target shootin. I started out in the 6's and with R's help now can score low 9's After the lessons' R spent lots of time in the months that follow...

IZH -sights
I am shooting an IZH 46M air pistol as well as a 0.22 and a 0.45.
My IZH did not come with multiple sights or a seal kit.
EAA does not import multiple sized sights and I was told that they are not available in the UK.
Hesitant to build my own; lack the tools, etc.,
Any suggestions?
Thanks
HJC

IZH 46M --sight width
I am shooting an IZH 46M air pistol as well as a 0.22 and a 0.45. The other two pistols offer much more visible sight The back sight on the IZH is not much wider than the front sight and it is a real challenge to get a clear sight picture. Should I just be learning to work with the narrower, tighter...

Cleaning a 0.22 Caliber (SW 41)
In addition to AP I also shoot a 22 C pistol, a S&W 41. I am getting mixed message on how frequently should one clean a 0.22. The NRA in their pistol class said clean after every shooting or, if you shoot frequently, clearn ever 3 weeks or so. Other shooters and the gun smith who sold it to me a...

Target centers...how high?
The only direction I have on setting target centers comes from Pilkguns web site which suggest that target centers should be as close to 55 inches in height as is possible. The one indoor range I have shot at seems to have target height closer to this and lots of flexiblity as to where one places th...
