Re: walther LP500 windage adjustment
I just read the manual and it says "Correction for shots to the left, turn the adjusting screw counter clockwise " the picture in the manual agrees with this. If the shots are landing to the left of centre turn the adjusting screw counter clockwise.

Re: Low ( very low ) velocity LP2
In the parts manual, part labelled 6, threaded collar can pop out the back of the frame if the retaining grub screw comes loose. The velocity adjusting screw is threaded into the collar. If you take the grip off it will be sitting proud of the frame. Only thing holding it in is the grip. It happened...

Re: Styer EVO 10 (Manual trigger) Grip Adjustment
My metal grip insert part 73.7 was not bent properly . It was bent at about 85 degrees not 90. It allowed grip movement unless the mount screw was tightened more than I was comfortable with. Also makes adjusting the rake and twist very difficult. If you have the plastic spacer 73.6 ignore this. Adju...

Re: Can anyone convince me to keep using center hold for 10m?
I started shooting and was taught to shoot area hold ( sub six). I did this for about ten years of shooting. I swapped to centre aim primarily because of issues with sight quality at some clubs while shooting air. I swapped to centre hold with all my pistols. I did this for more than two years. I di...

Similar to the fas mag to disassemble, completely different in how well it functions.

Re: Walther SSP Magazine dissasembly
Will need to pull the magazine apart. If it went down while together the button would come out accidently.

Re: Walther SSP Magazine dissasembly
FTF? Fail to fire or feed? Fail to fire dirty chamber. Fail to feed, mine never has in 7 years. I disassemble and clean my mags hardly ever, at most once a year. To disassemble, a very small blade screw driver is inserted into the small gap marked with an arrow in the picture and the base plate is l...

Re: How to safely decock Walther SSP?
All you can do is pull back the slide about 2 to 3 mm and release the trigger. The striker will not touch the barrel. It does not matter if it hits the barrel as contact happens every time you fire a shot. The contact point on the barrel is well away from the chamber and the load is spread over a re...

Re: New AP shooter needs advice
Hi I own a LP50hp it is legal for ISSF air pistol, the single shot magazine is used in the event. Mine is the long version, the shorter sight radius on the short one is not an issue. Less shots per tank maybe. Compact would be better for events requiring movement. My best score for the year at a san...

Re: Trigger pull setup
Keep using the Scatt it is a very useful tool. I believe if I had one much earlier I would have improved more quickly. Shooting thousands of bad shots just reinforce bad technique. Using the scatt can identify the technique problems causing the bad shots. The Scatt is not a mystical device that only...

Re: Steyr LP10E trigger VS EVO-E
Yes. When I sit the pistols in my lap and focus on only the trigger, the EVO is better. When I shoot them for real at a target, I do not notice the difference hardly at all. But I will not be selling my LP10E to get the EVO. Will I shoot any better with the EVO trigger? Most probably not. Not planni...

Steel scuba tanks not able to hold 3000psi ? I must have an unusual one, mine is a Faber scuba steel 230 bar (3335 psi) tank. They also make steel 300 bar tanks. The 230 bar tank has the same fittings as a 200 bar one. The fitting that comes with the pistol attaches directly to the tank. I can check...

Re: Lp50 problems
The grub screws have a tapered tip, a small amount of looseness will result in a significantly out of position trigger. They are the primary locating device for the trigger. Its my theory and I am sticking to it. Hopefully the pistol continues to work well for you.

Re: Lp50 problems
Maybe check the trigger is correctly adjusted. You tube video from Steyr shows how. Make sure trigger assy is tight in the frame, one bolt and grub screws. A correctly adjusted trigger has a short first stage and a small amount of smooth creep on the second stage. I have adjusted mine following the ...

Re: Lp50 problems
You must have a different parts diagram. My adjusting screw is 70. Mine is slightly below flush with the outer screw. The outer screw is showing 1 turn of thread. My Steyr is a LP50hp. Air pressure drives a piston back to re-cock the pistol. The problem may be with the piston seals. If it is I think...

Re: Lp50 problems
Mine started intermittently doing this. If screw 70 in the parts diagram is screwed in to far it will not re-cock. My LP50 had slowed down a bit and I tried to recover the speed by adjusting screw 70, it stoped re-cocking completely until I backed off the screw.

CCI E20V56
Hornady 06Z209
Hornady 22 hornet lot# 3080081
Who knows what this means, not I.
It is dearer than CCI in Aus so unless it offers something more I will mot be buying it. Still to be determined if it is better, or if it will be available.

Different head stamp, slightly different projectile, projectile crimped differently into the case, packaging much the same other than the printing, does any of this prove or disprove who made it.

Re: Switching left to right grip on Walther SSP
Just tried to do it. Looks like the mag latch is left and right handed, but it is not. The bit that the mag release button is screwed to is not able to be swapped to the other side. Looks to me like he will need two parts.
