Freelader/Phelps
If I remember right it was nothing but a large funnel with a clear hard plastic tube that fit in the Hume Casefeeder. There was bracket with a elongated slot that mounted on the spring arm on the Star Press. As you loaded ammo it would allow the funnel to move sideways and jiggle the cases in the fu...

50 ft. Rapid fire banks
I made two banks for 50 ft. RF. Used pneumatic cylinder to turn each bank. Instead of using air, I used a nitrogen cylinder with regulator, instead of an air compressor. On the pneumatic cylinders, I used adjustable quick dump valves on both ends so I could regulate the speed of the turn to ISU rule...

Target turner
Pretty simple, look in the Grainger catalog for solenoid valves. All you need a 3 way valve with the proper voltage coil. The systems I have built have rapid vents on each end of the cylinder, this increases the speed of the exhaust of air from that end of cylinder and that determines the speed of t...

Funny no one mentioning the Kart conversion
Wasn't the Kart 22 conversion prior to the Marvel? I had Fred built me an entire gun, frame w/conversion. It was set up with a 2 1/2 lb. trigger. In the Ransom Rest it shot 3/8" groups at 50 yds. with Eley Pistol Match. One of the few guns I never should have sold. One problem it was a little o...

reply for Lee Sellers, and another question on the Daisy 717
I believe he is using the GI bill, but money is still tight. Are left hand grips available for the Daisy 717?

Daisy 717/747 Trigger and sight modification
Have a friend who is an ex-marine sniper and is going to college on his own nickel. He does not have an abundance of spare money and he is very interested in pistol shooting. I have a brand new 717 and I would like to do the trigger and sight modification that Don Nygor recommended for that airpisto...

32 S&W Long accuracy and my experience w/Walter GSP
Accuracy was measured with a Ransom Rest with the Walter. It was awful, could not hold ten-ring at 50 yards with Lapua Factory. 25 yards was so-so. Slugged bore=0.3135", muzzle looked like it was crowned with a center drill, sloppy job almost 3/8" deep. Chucked barrel in lathe, removed old...
