Yes, that's what the Mantis will give you.

Re: Accurize vs MantisX vs Scatt vs Trace
I don't want to derail the thread, but do you have issues with the Mantis triggering on shots? It's been a while since I've made a concerted effort to get it to work, but it always seemed hit-or-miss, maybe picking up 50% of shots at best (when firing a pellet, when dry firing it was worse). Any tri...

Re: offhand advise needed
I'm no expert, but I would say yes, first fit the rifle to you, then adjust the sights so it hits where you look.

Re: SAM10 O-Rings
Sorry, no direct help, but on the surface the Match Guns MGH1 looks very similar to the SAM10. The MGH1 manual has a parts list, but unfortunately does not list o-ring sizes. However, I mention it in case sizes for the MGH1 can be found....

Re: Over filling cylinder
Yes, over-filling can be dangerous, but I think it's interesting that some people thing it's a black-and-white sort of situation. As someone mentioned, the test pressures of cylinders are typically at least 150% the rated pressure, and the RUPTURE pressure is typically much much higher than that. So...

Re: Shooting after premium lens replacement eye surgery?
FYI, there are lenses that will correct astigmatism, but I don't know how widely they are used. I believe it is sometimes possible to correct for it with a laser as well.

Re: Shooting after premium lens replacement eye surgery?
No experience, but also curious. I actually work for J&J on cataract equipment, so I am obligated to recommend the Synergy lens instead, but my guess is that any company is going to have marketing data that 'proves' their lens is the best. My understanding is that one of the main issues with ref...

I don't know if they sell to the general public, but I've had good luck getting o-rings from Engineered Seal Products (www.espint.com) for work.

Re: FAS604 Repair
Pull hard.
Mine was stuck pretty badly -- the o-ring had turned to paste. I don't remember what I finally used to get it out; I think I may have used a piece of wood or brass to wedge under the 'button', then levered it against the body.

Re: Over filling cylinder
Realistically, it would most likely never be a problem. However, the better/safer option would be to fill to 200bar, let it cool, then top it off.

Re: FAS 604 seal sizes
I know this is an old thread, but considering I just had to rebuild one of these, I thought I'd make an additional note that may help others: In terms of 'standard' US SAE o-ring dash numbers, you will need 2pc -115 (for the piston and breech block) 2pc -010 (for the breech face and valve assy) 2pc ...

I'd reiterate pretty much what everyone else said. In your position, I'd use your steel cylinder unless (1)you want to get some extra shots out of each fill, (2)it has the wrong fittings to adapt to your LP50, and/or (3)you feel like spending more money for new stuff. I believe your LP50 has a 200ba...

Re: Improving Garbage National Paper Targets?
Some sort of backer can do miraculous things. I usually just double-up bad targets with a second, used target (stagger the position so you're not just shooting through the same hole). I've had others swear by the postage-paid return mailers they get in magazines and other junk mail. Often it doesn't...

Re: Air Rifle Tuner
Both of those air rifle "tuners" appear just to be weights that attach to the barrel shroud, not actually the barrel. As such, they would not do anything to barrel harmonics -- i.e. not function like a typical rimfire tuner. They seem to be calling them "tuners" just from the sta...

Re: Has anyone DIY resealed S400 or T200 cylinders
I've never done an Air Arms cylinder, but I've done a couple other brands.
I'm cheap, so I've just used tools and materials I have available, or make my own. The main risk is cosmetic damage, as long as you remove all air pressure before starting.

I'd put them up in the Classifieds for the cost of shipping if you'd otherwise just toss them. I'm sure there are plenty of cheapskates (like me) that might be interested if the sizing is right.
