Re: .22 Ammo For Free Pistols That Won't Stick in Chamber?
I have the same problem with my Hammerli 150. The only ammo that will chamber constantly is either Federal Match or Federal target match. I have compared them to quite a few others, CCI, Remington, Eley, Aguila etc and they seem to be just a little shorter ( I think about .010 if memoir serves me we...

Re: Advice S&W 41 vs HS Victor
If you are thinking of going the High Standard rout, you should really look into the slant grip pistols also. Anything between the 102 through the 104 series were the best they made. For target shooting I think the slant grip is far superior ( boy that could set off a poop storm) to the military gri...

I have Rink on mine, very nice. Fung grips are a little less expensive, I have not tried them, but they look just as good. Let us know.

Re: Ruger Mark IV Target for Bullseye Pistol?
Never thought I would say it, but for once I agree with Rover. Rugers are great shooters. If you get to the point that you can shoot better then it, it will be time to upgrade. Stick to the iron sight and learn how to shoot. Good luck….

You can answer that question yourself by shooting nothing less then a 9 for sixty consecutive shots. Take longer it’s OK.

Re: What New Free Pistol
I have to almost agree with spektr. Federal auto match- AM22- is the only USA made ammo that chambers well in my Hammerli 150. Where I disagree is quality. Rarely do I have a misfire with it. The quality, for the price, is as good as any other ammo out there. The TOZ will eat anything. Results may v...

dsb45acp. There are some good on line courses available on the shooting USA web site. The cost is minimal and they are as good, or better, then any information you will find elsewhere. Plus,by taking them, you can work for your certification. I will second Hamster, the DES69 is a great pistol. Add a...

Re: Toz 35 vs. Morini grip
It is always best to modify the part. If you screw up the part so be it. If you screw up the gun, well there you are. Plus the modification to the gun will most likely sink the resale value of your pistol to zero. Good luck

Ramon. Thanks for posting these interviews. You happened to interview one of my shooting hero’s João Costa. The guy is truly one of the great shooters of our time. No gimmicks, no BS, just shoot. You can’t beat that for honest advice from a real champion. Thanks again.. Sam

Re: 9mm ammuntion for 25yd Bullseye
My two cents. If you are shooting nothing less then 9s, at 25 yards, then it’s time to worry about ammo. If not, Winchester White Box should tell you where you are.

Re: Beretta 76 Opinions?
I have to agree with Hamster. The DES 69 is a fantastic gun. I thought of mentioning it in my previous response. Along with being a very accurate target pistol it has a hammer block so you can dry fire it all day with no ill effects. I don’t know of another UIT grade pistol with this feature. Betwee...

Re: Beretta 76 Opinions?
The Beretta 76 is a very nice pistol. It is more on par with the S&W M41. Beware, however, if there is any play between the barrel/slide assembly and the frame the thing is toast.

F/V ice swan.
I like shooting the P17. For the money it is a good buy. The only thing I will caution you about is that it can be a real bear trap when you close it. There are some really good SSP pistols out there. Don't over look the IZH 46. Cheers...

I know it's not very glamorous but if you just want to try a SSP a Beeman p17 is very reasonable and accurate.

Re: unique des 69 jam-o-matic fix?
Strange since Des 69s are about as bomb proof as you can get. I don't remember ever having any feed/extraction problems with mine. If you take a dummy round and cycle it through, does it feed/extract and eject ok? if the extractor does not pull out the round, that would point to either a chamber or ...

Re: Toz FP ammo
Jab. I have had really good results with good old Federal AM22. That is the stuff that comes in a white and black box of 325 rounds that says "target grade performance". I am sure this will start an ammo war because it high velocity, but for me it works well. I have put thousands of these ...
