Is there a rule that gives the competition organizers power no to accept your equipment if you have an old cylinder not under warranty of the manufacturer? So is ISSF forcing the shooters to support the manufacturers?

Speaking of Morini air pistols. What will be the verdict with the older model 162 E with the fixed cylinder? Do the cylinders/guns need to be inspected by someone or are they anymore good for training purposes only?

Hi, I had a similar problem a couple of years back. Then the problem was that the screw #13 had loosened and thus the tension of accelerator spring #12 was not enough to give enough "oomph" to release the firing pin. The part numbers refer to manual page 6 found from here http://www.docsto...

Ammo

Also this shows that if you are interested in finding a good ammo for your pistol you have to test it yourself and not rely on others. Ammo #17 is a good example of this as the same ammo gives totally different results in diffrent guns. At least for an average (pistol) shooter more important is to f...

This winter I shot an average around 565. Usually I had 4-6x8. My only competition result without any eights was 572, but I think even the few scores >575 I have managed to shoot in recent years included one or two eights. -TP

Do you happen to remember the lenght of the 223 case?
I did not want to alter the original geometry, so I chose the length of the case so that the trigger is in the same position as it is with the stock installed. So I shortened the case to 15mm.

Hi Steve, which parts began to wear out? I have the older model too and shooting only approx 2000 rounds / year. I also was planning to upgrade, but at least the standard grip felt so different in 162 EI that I thought it's not worth the work of rebuilding the grip. -TPE My old 162 E began experienc...

SP20 trouble

Were these .32 or .22 versions? I have heard about some problems on .32, but .22 is news to me.

Spares for TOZ

... or if everything else fails, you can try bending a spring from piano wire or similar. I have seen a couple of replacements like that and they work perfectly (at least until you find the correct part).

Re: "loose groops" / testtarget

Hi, You experience less than satisfying groops from your AP, when shot from a fixture? Regardless of match pellet brand? yes, the AP is clamped tight and we have shot nice groups with other guns from the same bench, so I do not think the bench is a problem. We have tested RWS and different variatoin...

Re: Barrel diameter

Your homepage indicates that you are an arms dealer. G'day. in this case unfortunately not. If I were, I might have accurate equipment to measure more of the AP regarding this "loose groups" problem. However, I'm just an average shooter hitting 560s on a good day. The page links to my clu...

Barrel diameter

Hi, what is the acceptable tolerance in barrel diameter for air pistol? We were testing different pellets and did not find one which would have produced a decent group. With the same pellets three other APs had nice groups. Next the pistol was taken to a gunsmith who measured the inner diameter of t...

Hmm, the problems with the main slide spring is interesting news. I have to check mine soon before the season really starts here. I had the weirdest problem with my 603. The height adjusment screw of the rear sight bent after about 100 shots. After a couple of new screws I took the gun to the gunsmi...
