thanks for the reply. Any chance someone can direct me to the Dot size poll. I can't seem to find it. I was looking at a fast fire to keep weight down. But since I don't have one I didn't know how reliable or accurate they are.
thanks

Dot size?
Hello, I am struggling shooting 10 meter pistol because of my eyes. I have three sets of glasses that are different prescription. They all work well sometimes. Then sometimes they don’t. Do my eyes change from day to day? Maybe. I have thought about a red dot and want to keep the weight down. So I h...

Re: 10m rifle that can be scoped for indoor practice
A Daystate huntsman regal xl will be something good to consider. I shoot a 1712 when I shot silhouettes and think the Brocock will be a great rifle to practice with. stock is comparable. I bought a Air Arms 400 years ago and still have it but like the huntsman more. Check them out.

I tried to buy a LP50 HP compact today. I can't find one in stock. I tried pilkington, champion choice, Neil Stepp. Any ideas where I may find one.

Thats interesting. I didn't know that. Thank you.

Re: Question about recoil?
Thanks for the information on the rules. I have only shot in weekly club matches where the rules are relaxed to encourage participation. Unfortunately the matches are on a day I have a commitment and can’t make it there during the school year. So I am not around other air pistols that I can try. The...

Question about recoil?
Recoil question Something I have found with my anemic FAS 6004 that is when the trigger is squeezed correctly there is no movement noticed in my sight picture. A bad executed trigger pull really is seen as I watch my sights. So the FAS is really helping me there. I shot a few shots with a FWB P I th...

Re: 10 Meter Air Pistol Practice Questions
You are doing pretty well. The 4-bull target is used in some club matches, but any serious match will at least be fired on single bullseye targets. I don't think it makes a huge difference changing between bullseyes, but it is an unnecessary distraction. You probably can't purchase 25' targets, but...

LP50 questions
I have heard it said the LP50 is not the perfect pick for 10 meter shooting and there are better options. However I’m 56 bad eyes and won’t take the time required to be the best ten meter shooter I could be. I bought a FAS 6004 to supplement practice to my powder burning pistols. I have found this a...

Re: Sight picture?
WoW, the information you are giving me is amazing. Thanks! It’s amazing the complexity of our eyes. I started looking into the eye glasses a year ago because I couldn’t see my ruler mkII sights. Joint problems were making it where 45acp was imposable to shoot. I sold what hurt. I thought about getti...

Re: Sight picture?
When I used the +1 I was using that number as a example. Last year when I got glasses I had my optician make me a pair of single vision glasses that focus at 40” for looking at a PC screen while doing electrical testing. I have tried using those for shooting. the front sight is perfectly focused but...

Re: Sight picture?
There is some good information here. thanks. Questions
Front sight should be the width as the bull?
If I got a right lens set about +1 to see the front sight should my left lens focus be set for distance?
thanks

Sight picture?
I went to a indoor shoot last week. I didn’t shoot as well as I do at home. I just figured extra noise and movement equals less concentration. I didn’t think I could see my front sight as well as normal and figured the light is different. This week at home I see that the targets that I print on whit...

I really like the looks of that pistol. I sure would like to handle one of those. If you put the universal grips on it I would like to see the picture.

Re: New guy with question
i have some ten meter pistol targets but i printed out a target with 3- 3/8" black dots. that is what i have been shooting at. But i am using a six o clock hold on them. Wind up the rear sight a bit more and aim into the white below the black aiming mark (ABOUT 1/2 way down between the bottom ...

10 meter pistol scoring?
How are targets scored at matches? After each shot? I am making assumptions. I assume you shoot 10 shots on each target. I am shooting in my kitchen living room, I am using printed target that are printed on card stock, pinned tight on a cardboard box full of denim pants. If the group is ok I see a ...

Re: SSP ?
Thanks for telling me options. I will keep my eyes open toward the classifieds. I already have a air tank and a air arms s400. I may never shoot a ten meter match. I don't get out to shoot firearms as much as I use to and using the pistol to have fun shooting targets in the house or the shop. I do l...
