Re: Recommendations for Off Hand Stand
I’ve been using one from tec-hro. My teams shoot at different clubs and mostly we’re setting up in pistol ports that are very narrow. I like this stand because it has one short leg that is super helpful at taking up less space. It’s made a big difference. It’s carbon fiber so it’s light to carry in ...

I’ve been shooting in a Creedmoor leather hardback for years. Superb quality.
Many others I know wear them too. They are ok for NRA matches but I don’t think
they are ISSF compatible so check the rules for matches you’ll be shooting in.

Re: Setting up KK500
I had two Celestrons and both broke on the focus mechanism. I’ve been using a Konus for years now and have even had my stand fall over with it at the top a few times. It still works fine.

Re: spotting scope question
DavZee, what scope stand do you use for 3P shooting? I assume it must work for standing, kneeling, and prone. Thanks. Mike I’m using a Freeland bi-pod with a Polecat head. All the way up for standing it’s top heavy and can get tippy if you bump it. I switched from the Freeland head to the Polecat f...

Re: blinder for 30mm scope
1/4” packaging foam. NOT styrofoam. It’s in sheet form and a little stretchy so if you cut it with scissors just a bit on the small side it will snug right on. Shape to fit a size that works for you.

Re: spotting scope question
I been using a Konus 20-60x80 with the angled view for years. I use it indoors at 50ft for 3P all winter and outdoor 100 yrd Prone all summer. Crystal clear, never have any problems seeing the holes. This scope is a great value for the money. I’ve had cheap scopes and yeah, you get what you pay for....

“ pulling the front sight through the rear sight “ I like that.....that makes sense to me for a smooth straight trigger pull.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Air Pellet Shelf Life
The oxidation difference between the two may be because of the amount of tin blended into the lead before casting. The loose pellets in the bulk packaging may have more tin, making them slightly harder and more resistant to deforming. The pellets in the separated package may be of pure lead, very so...

Size wide shooting boots
A person on my club smallbore team is interested in getting shooting boots but he wears a size in wide.
Does anyone know if there is a manufacture who makes boots in wide sizes?

I must say, “Dustin Clays” is a most excellent online name for a shotguner.
