Re: LP50 questions
@Old Sparky: BUY THE LP50! I picked up an LP50 from Pilkington in June - love it! Use the LP50 for: (1) LOADS of fun!, (2) Trainer for rapid-fire, (3) Eventually get an ambi-grip to get trigger-time LEFT handed. Have set-up a "To-Scale" rapid-fire course (in my driveway), scaling back 25-m...

Re: New Air Pistol Question
@Rover: Frankly my dear, a box of Q-Tips COSTS MORE than a tin of felt pellets!
Instead, try this:
Soak Rover's Q-Tip in ethyl ether, the compressed air pressure DETONATES the ether, and Voile': TRACER AMMO for 10-meter air pistol!!!
Essentially, the Poor-Man's SCATT System!

Re: RINK grip vs. Morini vs. Steyr grips; THICK vs. Normal V
Thank you Coolmeester and Peter! Peter's data on 90mm-hand and "long fingers" with THICK volume grip is pretty much the data I needed. Also, thanks Peter for position of Palm-rest at mid-point for Med. grip being good size. Appreciate the time! FYI, Larry's Guns has in In-Stock: RINK 1911,...

Re: RINK grip vs. Morini vs. Steyr grips; THICK vs. Normal V
@Coolmeester. Ordered RINK grips Med./THICK today! Question on Med. Rink w/84mm hand: What height is your adjustable palm shelf set to? Have learned: 1. RINK does NOT charge Value-Added-Tax for shipments to USA. AP Grip cost 185 Euros, w/DHL shipping 37 Euros. 1 Euro=.85 dollars for conversion ($226...

RINK grip vs. Morini vs. Steyr grips; THICK vs. Normal Volum
INPUT NEEDED! Considering ordering a RINK grip from Germany. Size I'm considering is "Size: Medium, Form: Convex, Angle: Zero, VOLUME: THICK!" for my 162EI. I'm currently in a Morini Medium-grip on a 162EI, and a Steyr Large/Long on a LP50. The Morini actually feels loose/small in my hand....

Re: Poll: Where Do You Aim?
@Rune Kanstand. Why "Sub-6 4-ring" on AP10, then Center-Hold on Rapid Fire string. Please elaborate.
All: How does eye visually actuate a Center-Hold on a Rapid fire string? How would this produce better result in a RF string, then trying to produce the Sub-6 image visually?

Re: What's your high score?
I was consistently shooting Perfect-600's, so I switched to a Glock 42, holding it "GANGSTA'-STYLE" to handicap the match. But then the officials tossed-me out. Something about "Everyone's ears are ringing."

I don't have an Owner's Manual for the Izhmash 7-4.
However, I do have a road map that would lead you OUT of Kalifornistan to the Mountains of Tennessee. Just a thought - happy shooting!

Re: RK - Radial Keratotomy; Procedure from the 1990's?
@M1963: What was long-term result from your Son's eye procedure in 2009? 1. Was the procedure the "P-RK"? 2. NOT "RK" - with Scalpel? 3. What have the 8-year results been since 2009? 4. Was the "Pain" acute & just after surgery, or has pain been long-term? 5. How wa...

Re: RK - Radial Keratotomy; Procedure from the 1990's?
@M1963. Disagreement. "RK" differs from "PRK." Radial Keratotomy=Done with a SCALPEL. PRK=Photo-Refractive Keratectomy-done with a Laser (a predecessor procedure to LASIK.) At this time (quoting: Office of The Surgeon General, Chief of Army Optometry): It is their position that N...

Re: RK - Radial Keratotomy; Procedure from the 1990's?
Many lawsuits filed over Radial Keratotomy. It was a "Grab the Cash & Run" 90's money maker, as so-called "World Class" eye surgeons lined up people like a manufacturing plant. However, my eyes are stuck with these results. Any medical or practical remedies among competitive ...

RK - Radial Keratotomy; Procedure from the 1990's?
Have any shooters had RK - RADIAL KERATOTOMY performed in the early 1990's? A now Obsolete procedure - which my Ophthalmologist describes as a "DEVASTATING PROCEDURE" to the cornea. I had Radial Keratotomy performed in 1992. This is NOT the newer LASIX. This was eight incisions directly on...

Re: Poll: Where Do You Aim?
What about: 10 AP hold VS. 25-meter Rapid-fire? Consensus says "Sub-6". But does any shooter recommend Sub-6 on 10AP, then take on center-aim in a Rapid Fire string? Just a thought. Please elaborate PRO/CON on this idea.
