Pardini Pistol Break In Process
Hello Everyone, I wanted to post this so it is here for reference. Our firearm pistols will typically have some form of a break in when they are new. Often it is anywhere between 200-400 rounds prior to a normalization of operation. There is a shortcut we have found to accelerate this process, in mo...

Pardini SP HP FTE Stove Pipe Explanation
Hello Everyone, It was suggested to us by one of our clients to post a synopsis on the reasoning behind Failure to Eject, Failure to Extract, and Stove Piping. I hope that my explanation helps all of you to better understand our Pistols. The Pardini SP and HP will tend to encounter these types of ma...

Re: New Pardini SP w/ integrated picatinny on barrel shroud.
Actually based on the measurements we have taken, having a scope mounted at the front brings some of the balance from the muzzle (becasue of the weights) back to around the area of the trigger.
If you remove the weights all together, then the balance will be a little further back.

Re: New Pardini Rapidfire problem
Correct, for the most part if the round has not fired it will have some trouble being removed from the chamber. I would see if the hammer had dropped when putting the round into battery. For the most part, if it is not firing the round there are other problems preventing this from happening.. As sta...

Position Grip Sight Alignment & Sight Picture Trigger Control Shot Sequence/Follow Through/Recovery In all schools around the world these are the most important aspects of shooting. Each element can be worked separately and when all of them work together you execute an ideal shot. Focus is impor...

Re: New Pardini Rapidfire problem
Does the slide go back all the way without a round in it? There are sometimes issues where the pins that hold the extractor/firing pin/back shock absorber in place have moved out of position and stick up preventing the bolt from going back all the way. If the ejector is a problem, it will be visibly...

Re: Alternative targets set up for 25 M rapid fire
Hey! Im in Tampa and we do not have any large ranges here where we can set up 25 m targets so what we do is one of the following: -10M RF airpistol targets from Kruger set at 10M from the firing line. We have two different target setups for this distance: One with lights and one without the light se...

Re: Nutrition tips that actually work?
What they have told me at the Olympic Training Center when I was there for a camp is that the ideal way to lose weight while maintaining muscle growth and function is to follow the following rule: During a 7 day period you will have 5 regular diet days, and 2 refeeding days. During the regular diet ...

Definitely have a grip for the leftie so you can shoot it as you normally would.Kifsif wrote:Should I make a grip for a leftie? Or just holding my ordinary grip in the left hand will be enough?

Re: Rumors of a single stack Pardini GT-45
Have you tried putting your thumb on top of the safety too? Also, I recommend letting your hand rest between series. It is impractical to hold the pistol squeezed for so long. If you have a consistent grip, taking on and off of the gun should not be a problem at all. Yes, my thumb is on top of the ...

Re: Rumors of a single stack Pardini GT-45
The Pardini GT 45 has taken me to Master and allowed me to win several Regional Championships. I've come close to cleaning slowfire with it (98) and have more short line cleans than I care to keep up with, so the gun is bullseye accurate. I use the custom short trigger and the factory panel grips w...

Re: Dealing with plateaus
Do some holding drills, except when you are doing them focus on the front sight and make yourself hold the front sight steady. I know it sounds a bit strange but you can train yourself to extend this period of steadiness.

Re: Pellet Testing... AGAIN!
I test pellets everytime I am in competition in Germany so about 1-2 times per year. Now, I know I am an extreme since I am on the pistol team, but I find that the more you start testing pellets the more you give yourself an "out" for the problems. I personally only test to find a match l...

Re: Training the other hand
Kifsif, It does in fact help. Though training it to the full extent as you are mentioning will be a waste of time. For my training, for every 5 lifts I do, I do one with the left hand. There is definitely a benefit in terms of coordination. Beyond that I would not recommend going too much in to it. ...

Re: Rumors of a single stack Pardini GT-45
I cant comment on this Though what I can say is that making a 1911 is not something we would do..The design of a 1911 removes alot of the advantages you see in the GT series...though as a shooter I do like the idea of the single stack... I dont have large hands in the first place so what I did for m...

Re: Custom wood grips USA?
We make custom Grips at Pardini..we make it not for comfort though, our main goal is to align the gun for you so you can shoot even with closed eyes (NOT RECOMMENDED only DRY FIRE) xD Then if you want a piece made from wood it can be done as well. What exactly are you looking for from the grip? If y...

Re: Dealing with plateaus
The difference is I'm seeing the movement before the shot break. Granted, I should be cancelling the shot at that point, but I'm not perfect in that regard. For trigger break, I'm very happy at this point, it's one of the stronger parts of my game right now. But on target I'll get a before-break mov...

Re: Olympic Air Pistol and Free Pistol. Can we maintain bot
Realistically speaking Free Pistol is gone. No matter what argument is made, it is the least popular event to the public. If we do not maintain the publics interest, since shooting does not get much air time, then it will eventually fail to be in the Olympics. I understand personally where everyone ...
