New Wolf Match Extra
I finally ran through all of my old Wolf Target and SK, so I bought some of the new Wolf Match Extra. Apparently it's made by Eley now: "E" headstamp, the Eley plastic boxes, and much less obvious lube than the old Wolf or SK. Does anyone have any strong opinions on whether this is a change...

Good deal on some FP targets
This company is getting out of the target business and has their remaining stock on sale. Good deals on 50 foot/25 yard free pistol targets ($6.49/100), as well as repair centers for 50 yard FP targets (some bullseye and highpower repair centers as well). Free shipping on orders > $50. I ordered a b...

Re: FAS 601 doubling (or tripling)
Thanks for the suggestions. I believe I've got it sorted out. The upper screw (hex socket) on the hammer housing has a very narrow range of workable adjustment. Too far in and the sear won't catch. Too far out and you can't get the hammer housing in without hitting the bar from the trigger that trip...

FAS 601 doubling (or tripling)
Are there any obvious or known issues that could cause a FAS601 to double (or triple) fire? If there's anything I should pay especial attention to on disassembly it would be helpful to know in advance.

Re: Importing Airgun Parts? Customs?
I think coming into the country there wouldn't be any issues at all. Leaving the origin country (e.g., the UK) might be more of an issue. I've bought BSA sights from the UK, air cylinders from Germany, and air rifles/pistols from the Netherlands and never had any problems.

Re: Old shooting jackets and pants
There are probably junior programs that would love to have some of them. I know we would for both Jr Air and 22 (https://www.mountjoysportsmen.com/event ... -programs/)

Slugging barrel
I need to slug my .32 S&W long barrel. I was considering just ordering a box of .315" diameter muzzleloading lead balls from Natchez Shooters Supplies, but there must be a less wasteful way to get a small piece of soft lead to work with. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Bullet Sizing 32 S&W
To: fc60 Took your lead and called Bear Creek 30 minutes ago, Yes, they do have some inventory of 98 gr HBWCs. These are cast, then swaged at 0.314". Since I can't locate my Speer HBWCs, I ordered a bunch. Price is reasonable IMO and shipping is flat rate PMail. I'll be comparing the Magnus (n...

Re: ISSF pistol shooting at risk in Canada?
If the law is put into effect, what happens when the original owner passes on? Since "transfers" are forbidden, the next of kin cannot inherit. Does the government get the guns? What about compensation? Dennis, aka Dulcmrman FWIW, in my country this is exactly what happens. Inheritors mus...

Re: MGH1 leak
Thankfully I did not remove the regulator! I appreciate the warning, since if/when I get the leak resolved I expect that I might find other problems which will cause me to remove the regulator.

Re: MGH1 leak
I got a chance to look at the discussion you linked to. Apparently there were some substantial changes to the design between the time that MG1 was made and the time mine was made! In mine, the valve body sits on top of the frame of the pistol, directly behind the barrel. The valve body is part #H142...

Re: MGH1 leak
I'll look at that site when I get a chance later today. I must have a different parts diagram than you do. I don't see an o-ring 1027 in the Matchguns-provided exploded diagram. I replaced the o-ring H154 (between valve body and frame of pistol). I think it may be the nylon washer/gasket H149. It's ...

MGH1 leak
I hope someone here can help me with an air leak on a Matchguns MGH1. When the cylinder is screwed on there's a rapid leak from the breech area. I disassembled a bit, and it seems to be coming out of the valve opening in the valve body. According to the parts diagram there don't seem to be any seals...

Thanks for the responses. Now I just need to get the riser block off the bottom of the stock. Someone torqued the hex bolts down unmercifully, and then stripped one.
