As I understand the sub six hold, you want the front post to be about as wide as the black rings on the target at 10m - my front post is only about half as wide.

The front sight is a pretty simple piece of metal. If worse comes to worse, you could make a wider one, even out of black plastic or aluminum. The rear sight blades have two different sized notches.
