Re: O-ring sizes for Crosman Challenger 2009
Thanks for the note. I would like to get O-ring from my own source so that I can choose different material and durometer. With the same amount of money, one can get a lot more O-rings with different variety to try out for better durability and performance. :) I already got some O-ring to try on, and...

O-ring sizes for Crosman Challenger 2009
Hi, I just got a Challenger and immediately it was out for exchange due to air tank leaking and other cosmetic issue. After some reading, it seems re-buiding it with O-ring is a commonly needed routine, which I don't mind. I knew that Archer Airgun sells the O-ring kit, but the cost ($16) + shipping...

Re: lever and scope mount movement
I know that this is a three year old post. Hello dukja, It's been almost three years since I've been to this site. I log in on a whim and see a thread I started up front and center! Pretty strange I would think. We are still shooting that 853 and enjoying it immensely. It's now in the hands of an 1...

Re: Pumping technique for an Advanti 853 while prone w/ slin
Thanks for the reply and help. Sorry for the late notice. I also got reply from other forum mentioning the same thing. Funny thing is that in my case I found that support gun on the lever actually reduce the grouping to a single hole. If I hold the wood forearm, the barrel will shift in the bad case...

Re: parts availability of FWB 60x or Walther LGR
Thanks a lot for the confirmation. Although I would like to find local US part resources, knowing that FWB keep support old gun is very encouraging. And I enjoy working on well-engineered gears, including air file. :)

Re: parts availability of FWB 60x or Walther LGR
Thank you both for the good information.
To follow up on FWB's parts, are there some reliable source here in US? Or I have to order directly from FWB?
I have also been pointed to eBay for the FWB parts. Are those authentic ones or good alternative? Thanks!!

parts availability of FWB 60x or Walther LGR
Recently I got a Daisy CMP 853 and really enjoy the accuracy and the nature of SSP. I also like the fact that I can service the gun myself easily and low-cost parts availability in US. Now I am thinking of getting either FWB 60x or LGR, but both are foreign guns. I tried to find posts about how peop...

Re: some help for CMP 853
Thank you so much for the reply. It has been quiet here so I did some search on "Barrel Seal" and found the part number. I have tried to contact CMP but cannot contact Tommy for two days. So I have called Daisy and order the parts. The screw set and spacer cost me about $8 including shippi...

some help for CMP 853
I just got a Diasy 853 via CMP to start up 10m shoot at home. I like the accuracy of this gun a lot and appreciate its affordability due to its age. However, I found that the pumping lever and the mounted scope (for testing gun accuracy) will move right after the trigger break. I read someone posted...

Re: lever and scope mount movement
I have a question if I may, it seems you have seen this rifle use a great deal with the cadet program. When shooting standing, my son places his support hand directly in front of the trigger guard and under the pump lever handle. He stated that the "gun moves when it shoots" this way caus...
