Has anyone tried to use one of the electronic trainers (such as SCATT) for running target? If so, what did you do and how did it work?

A Japanese shooter referred to a "beam" rifle which used a light beam rather than a pellet or a bullet.

If anyone has some experience with these guns would they please post their thoughts here. What do you think of them?

Who makes them and who makes the targets?
