I also have a few pics here http://www.jarviser.co.uk/jarviser/gamocompact.html but I haven't written it up yet and I need to take a few more pics. At our club we use ours for the under-16's as it's a light pistol. The trigger first stage needs to be opened up and if you have the trigger apart, smoo...

The Gamo Compact I know is a single shot precompressed like the FAS where the barrel pivots at the front. The seal is a hard O-ring and is easily replaced by inscrewing the alloy plug that the piston rod goes through, and taking out the pivot at the front end. It needs to be the right ring, not a ru...

Re: Stripping Feinwerkbau 80
Hello folks. One of my club colleagues has asked me to sort out her FWB model 80 which is recoiling. It looks like the cocking lever pivot screw has come loose and is rubbing on the fixed part of the action and preventing the sled part from sliding backwards, and so not all of the recoil is absorbe...

how to adjust Diana moel 10?
Our club has a Diana Model 10 (aka Original Model 10 and RWS model 10) opposed piston spring air pistol.
Any idea which screws do what?. We need to increase the trigger pressure back to 500 grams for ISSP regs. Can't see it on the tech pages.

I would also be worried about oxide dust getting into the transfer port at the entrance to the barrel (FWB P34 for instance). I was at a comp in Bedfordshire and a fellow rifle shooter went through a 45 minute elaborate preparation routine, including stretches and deep concentration. He then proceed...

Before I had £100 to spend on Knoblocks I made my own.

Well at least it is a DIY job and the parts came in 2 days. I used to own a top range German target air rifle and the regulator went. It took 6 weeks for the internal parts to arrive from Germany to the UK official repairers. Then the repairers were unable to strip it down, so the reg had to be sent...

To close this topic, I have managed the repair thanks to help from several forum members. A photo story of how I did it is here for anyone else interested.

Re: VP velocity pressure
(snip) he's in the UK I'm sure he can find someone over there to change the seals. You would think so, especially being a tad closer to Italy, but so far the only place to confirm having the parts is Larry's in the US. With help I am receiving from you guys on the forum by p.m. I am becoming confid...

Thanks Bill, I already tried that. Even with the eccentric pin removed the piston still has half-inch of engagement with the compression chamber. Unlike some guns this one does not have a removable pivot block, and the chamber is bored from the other end, so the piston will not pass thru forwards en...

Pardini K58 seal replacement
Hello there.
Has anyone replaced the main compression seal in a Pardini K58? Can it be done from the open end or does the whole gun have to be taken apart.
Lastly, any idea where I can get one? (UK shooter)
