When you're aiming you can't see anything but the sights.

Amazing gun with lots of adjustability and very nice engineering. Downside is the price and it comes with only one cylinder.

No, doesn't affect. Stabilizer just needs maintenance once in a while.

Re: Compensator for LP10
Just buy Steyr 8 duct compensator and install it yourself. It's so easy that you simply can't fail.
And re-adjust the stabilizer and it will be as good as new. There's good how-to video for that Steyr channel on Youtube.

One reason could be that you're not pulling the trigger straight backwards.

Re: Should I leave cylinder intact after practice?
I machine a spacer from nylon rod and place it between the cylinder and frame when not in use. Then the cylinder can be tightened on the gun to prevent thread movement as well as not allowing air pressure to be applied to the regulator. I use a little spacer plate, too. Don't know if it gives the r...

Maybe even +0.50.David M wrote:If you are using shooting glasses, try a stronger lens.
Increase the power by +0.25 diopter. this will move the focal
point closer to the foresight and easier to hold focus on the sights.

Re: 10 M aiming ethics
My opinion:
Shooting to lower edge takes focus away from the sights. AP shooting is 95% aligning only the front and the rear sight and pulling the trigger. The front sight doesn't have to be on the exact aiming point on the target to get ten.

Re: Steyr Evo 10 E vs Compact - Weight distribution
I am planning to purchase Steyr Evo 10 E. I am confused whether to go with regular or compact version. Compact version is 5 cm less in length. Main concern is if length of the pistol is longer, then centre of the weight will be further away from hand, which may strain the hand (shaky hand). What is...
