Great info, look forward to testing article
Good info which I have passed on to those who look at me sideways when I tell them pellet/gun evaluation is just like 22 ammo evaluation. They are stunned. Anywho, I have up until now never fooled with finding the optimal diamter for my 10m gun. My focus was toward youth programs and ensuring what t...

Walther LG90 SSP not holding full pressure :(
Well, I bought this nice SSP as a loaner to help create some interest this winter in 10m. Universal stock etc etc. Well, after a few months of non use :( I find I have some problems. Specifically, it does not create a full charge. In the last 3 inches of he stroke you can hear a little bit of pressu...

Post AR match analysis advice pls
Completed my second winter 07/08 match last night. Up 5 from first match. 521 to 526. Sorry, novice shooter. My goal is to be at 550 by end of the season and if I get there maybe buy a shooting jacket. First match, I realized my pellet selection was not helping. There were two shots that simply went...

Older pellets
Ok, I have been trying to match some pellets to my replacement 2002SSP after I sold the first one like a dummy. Good news, the first one is used by a youth shooter better than I can so I forget about it. Ok, attached are two old tins. The Bimoco's are oxidized so they will be just practice. I paid $...

Youth program in Concord, NH area???
I help start a youth program in Texas and now I am in NH. I'd like to know if anyone here on the board knows of any, even anecdotal, information on youth shooting in NH. Or New England for that matter. 4H, FFA etc are big in Texas. Not in NE from what I can tell. But, I'm new to the area and hope so...

10m AR, age, programs, mentoring, facilities
3 years ago I stuggled to start a youth 10m AR/AP program going. I had kids, with work I could get money. The biggest challenge was finding a facility. We found one and the program is still going! Yea! Ok, I moved around a bit. Now I have a facility but I have to find the kids and find the money aga...

Anyone have any dormant, unloved 499s I could buy to start..
I started one club in Dallas/Plano. Had to move and now I am looking to do the same again...man it's work from ground zero. Anyway, to demonstrate the fun and safe way to teach gun safety and marksman ship before getting a BS Venture group or similar started....we have zip going in the area....I tho...

My crappy score is in after a two year hiatus...and junky pellets. I would encourage us all to support the hard work Grzegorz puts in and shoot as many different disciplines as possible and get more scores in. The more participants the more interesting. But, perhaps the good shooters already have a ...

Any activity in the Concord, NH area?
Well, did a search and that was not very encouraging. So, any 10 AR going on in the Concord, NH area?
So, not wanting to strike out entirely, how about a SCUBA shop that might be PCP friendly?
Just fishing. You don't know until you ask.
TIA.
Jud

Wow! Guess I have some work to do. My groups are huge relative to TWP. But then again I was using junky pellets except for the Meisterkugeln which was kinda dissapointing. I traded my SSP for a CA and have yet to do a full pellet test. I've got bunches of pellets and need to shoot what I've got. But...

Pellet testing...practice and match
Good input on whether to shoot the good stuff all the time or not. But how do beginer shooters evaluate pellets? We've all read the expert approach but I don't have the equipment to set up my SSP in a "vice" and test just the pellet. My best approach was to mount a 24x scope and shoot from...

How to get your "buzz" back
Interesting thread. All posts are right on...except for the relaxing part ;). I have a hard time relaxing after losing or performing well below a PB. But anyway.... I have only been shooting in a competitive environment for 5 years. It was just easy to get involved as there was an organized program....

Indoor 10m AR in Memphis area?
Anyone know where one can shoot 10M AR in the Memphis area? Went and competed in my first SB 1600 prone match today, that is an entirely different game! Hopes I would get the scoop on where all the competitive SB/Air rifle shooting goes on around here. Well, prone guys are not much help for us off h...

Doctor: A lot of good info here which to the someone just starting might be a bit overwhelming. You have got some guys on this board who have established some GREAT programs. I hope some day to have as developed a program! I got a great deal of advice from these folks. Our youth program (4H) had zip...

I concur with the domed head issue. CPLs and CPHs (Crosman Premier Lights 7.9) and (Crosman Premier Heavy 8.?) are the classic field target or Airgun MS pellet sold in boxed of 1250 for about $16. Die number 6 and die number 5 etc etc. Then one day at Acadamy they had these nice steel screw top tins...

New test results
Based on some advice from you guys I changed my methodology. The Daisy Chinese mfg pellets are junk no doubt and these results will prove it. Sad that I had to waste my clubs limited funds! I also shot the 888 against my 2002SSP. Very impressive of how the 888 can hold with the 2002 or my 2002 is no...
