Re: Steyr Popularity in Air Pistol
I don't have the expertise and background that most everyone else here has, but having bought a Steyr LP2 back in September, I can tell you I've had more fun than anything else I've ever shot. As an "old fart," my goal is very simple: keep all 60 shots in the black..... I'm a lllooooooonnn...

carpal tunnel
have to have carpal tunnel surgery on left wrist. this because of smallbore rifle stock resting on hand and causing numbness. has anyone had any experience with this type surgery? if so, would you please tell your results. other thoughts and opinions welcome. thanks for any input.

Re: Question about Irritation Eyes during competition
For what it's worth, here is my thought.... measure the distance from your rear sight to the front sight. when you have your eye exam, ask the doctor what the prescription is for that distance. Now, when you're shooting, look at the front sight!! ps: many of the drops that are used to relieve allerg...

14 Feb 2018. I spoke to Scott a few weeks ago.... the machine to make the pellets is not on line yet. It's going to be awhile before he gets things up and running properly.

sliding weight on an air pistol barrel
As a "newbie," would someone help me with these questions: (1) Will the placement of the sliding barrel weight (on an air pistol) affect group size? (2) re 4.49mm vs 4.5mm pellet size for an air pistol: is this really important? (3) How does one go about finding the best shooting pellet fo...

Re: A Difficult Lesson in Simple Gun Safety
Talking about simple gun safety: A friend and I were at the local indoor pistol range. He wanted to shoot my S&W 38 hammerless snub nose, so I put 5 rounds in it and gave it to him. this pistol has a long trigger pull which he wasn't use to and after trying twice to get the round to go off, he p...

Re: Need a double check here - which lens for cataracts?
My personal opinion would be to not have any astigmatism correction in your implanted lens because if your eye changes over the years to come, you would be "stuck" with that implanted lens. Why not simply have a "good" lens put in and correct the astigmatism with your glasses? ps...

Re: CMP/Ely Ammo test
I can't speak about pistol but when it comes to Smallbore rifle, here's my thought. Having spoken with many high master shooters, some will have their lot testing done at the Ely test facility in Texas, while others have their testing done in Mesa, Arizona, at the Lapua test facility. It is my under...

risers and stuff
here's a question.... is the accuracy of my smallbore shooting affected if I have risers on my iron sights and scope. the risers would make the rifle more comfortable when I'm lying down. don't know why this happens, but it does. any caveats to be aware of? thanks for your thoughts.

Re: mec swap
in my opinion, these are great ! am right handed, right eye going bad (for shooting), left eye dominant, 75 years old.... am shooting with this and scores have increased substantially. it simply screws into your rear sight so all your position settings remain the same. there may be a used one for sa...
