Re: How far back should the trigger be
you didn't specify rifle or pistol... I don't know beans about pistols but I can definitely tell you that with many rifles, you can move the trigger back and forth. So with rifles: you need to find whatever works for you so the barrel (sights) doesn't move when you pull the trigger. There is a relat...

Re: 18mm front rifle tunnel sight
Are you looking for a sight body, an eagle eye and an adjustable apperature? Or less? am NOT looking for a sight body, already have that. am looking for an eagle eye: 0.3 or 0.5 in 18 mm size. also looking for an adjustable iris to go with either the 0.3 or 0.5 eagle eye. I don't have either one ye...

18mm front rifle tunnel sight
Trying to get better iron sights for my Kimber 82G rifle.... Looking to buy an 18mm, adjustable iris and also a .3 or .5 eagle eye. I've been told the 18mm will fit in the front tunnel sight perfectly... The sight radius is 28 inches so I'm trying to figure what front sight iris setting I'll need fo...

Re: Do i NEED to use a blinder?
"Food for thought:" a number of years ago in Louisville, KY, a young girl was shooting the smallbore tournament. She wore an eye protector metal patch over one eye. She came in second as I recall. Makes one wonder if "one eye" is the answer... you wouldn't be concerned about the ...

Re: Cateracts and seeing the target
When you have cataract surgery, be sure to get a good lens and the proper lens. I'd recommend the "distance" lens. I have a friend who had some kind of "new type lens" put in and he now greatly regrets his decision. Hopefully he'll read this thread and comment.!! Additionally, FY...

hope you write a "follow up" review of your surgery. many of us are going thru "eye surgery" situations today and the more we can learn from others, helps us to be more knowledgeable and make better decisions.

smallbore questions
Have a few questions for all you smallbore shooters out there.... (1) why do I see (sometimes) where the buttplate is slanted either forward or backward? What's going on here? (2) I've read about a balance point of the rifle being just in front of the trigger... what does this have to do with anythi...

Re: Front Iris
This can be a complicated question; there are two factors to be considered: (1) the distance from your REAR sight to the front sight (sight radius) and (2) are you using an eagle eye (diopter or magnifier). Since you're shooting prone, I'm assuming you're a smallbore shooter. If you would answer 1 a...
