AP training exersizes

What are some good training exercises for AP besides plain shooting?
And what about breathing exercises?

Dry firing an Anschutz LP

How do you set the gun to dry fire, as in shooting with no air when there is a full cylinder in place?

LP-10 Trigger in an Anschutz

A team mate told me you can swop triggers from an Anschutz to a Steyr or vise-versa. Is this true? Aren't they the same triggers? If no what's the difference?

Anshutz LP could I get a review?

My coach called me up and told me he found a used Anshutz LP. I was planning on getting the Steyr LP-10 but I can get a better deal on this gun. Aren't they pretty much a Steyr but with the weights on a rod and not on the barrel? How good is the recoil? Accuracy?

Steyr LP1

Can some tell me about this pistol? Would a new Anshuts be a better choice as far as new technology? How well do they shoot? When did they first come out? Is it pretty close to the LP-10? What are the differences between the LP1 and 10?

While your pistol may be accurate with Crosman pellets you might want to consider that Crosman pellets are very dirty. I mean VERY dirty! There is an almost insignificant difference in accuracy in my IZH-46 between Crosman pellets and RWS or H&N. Cleanliness of the German pellets sways me to bu...

Sorry everyone

Sorry about getting cocky and putting down the other shooters in my state in that last post.
That was way out of character for me and I have the upmost respect for other shooters.

Took 2nd at 4-H state

Looked up the results of the Montana 4-H shoot and I took 2nd with a 344 and 1st only got a 346! The person in third had a 330! I did pretty good for a rookie, the night before I shot a personal best 353 out of 400 and the scores keep going up! Alot of the other kids were all gun and no skill but th...

Sometimes if I'm really zoned it I can shoot low 90's with the cheapos then the next day good luck! Shot a score of 400 friday half with cheap loads and the other with R-10's and got a personal best of 353, not bad for the rookie!

No rules about cold ranges???

Just was wondering why there aren't any regulations on how COLD a range can be, even more so during the winter in areas known for cold temperatures? The reason I ask is at the last shoot I was at it happened to be about 20 below 0 degrees (very very very cold for non-Americans) and then about 20 abo...

TY for the help.

Yeah coach was saying the cleaning pellets are junk too. What he was having me do is take some 50lb test fishing line and loop it around a patch and pull it through, I wsa just wondering if there is something you can put on the patch.

I was taught by Dan Iuga, a former US National Team coach, to hook your thumb inside your pants, shorts about in the middle. The reasoning has been touched on here but not completely. It brings your arm in close to your body and center of mass and keeps it from "hanging in the breeze" if y...

Cleaning an AP

What kind of a cleaner can you use on an AP barrel? Will the same thing work on the AP as it does on the Winchester? Or is there a solvent made for air guns?

Basically it's the same pistol as my Steyr LP1. Word record was achieved with this pistol in 1989 (593/600), so it's all about the shooter. Find the pistol which anatomically fits you the best, and consider parts and service. Sorry slavochk, but the pisto with the world record is a Feinwerkbau mode...

Old Shot Targets?

What y'all do with your old targets? Anyone recycle them or burn them?
I got a stack of them but I don't just want to trash them...
Is there a company that takes old targets and makes them into knew ones?
