I believe 4.50 is the nominal head size for .177 pellets. I looked at some empty tins from when I purchased pellets from AOA (four different brands) and they were all marked 4.50.

Dan, In my opinion, only two types of shooters worry about pellet size: new shooters and world class shooters. Unless you are in the latter group, don't waste your time and money because you will not see any difference. Just shoot good quality pellets of nominal 4.50 size (or whatever) and have fun....

I don't see why you need a washer. Just unscrew the cylinder until you hear the air leak out and you are done. Or unscrew the cylinder completely if you prefer.

FWIW, I believe that the Steyr and Anschitz grips are interchangeable. I ordered an after market grip from Rink-Formgriffe for my Anschutz and it is listed together with the LP-10 as the same.

I received an email reply to my question today, so they are working through the backlog.

Your finger angle seems very normal to me. I checked my hand placement on my Anschutz air pistol, my High Standard Victor .22, and my Colt 1911, and it was the same as you describe. Further, there is nothing I can do to change my hand position-that's how I am built and the guns are built.
