Lane, If I'm not too late, what do you intend to use the scope for, i.e. air pistol at 10m or high power rifle at 300m? That can make a big difference in your decision. In general, I do not believe in skimping on optics. A quality scope will last your lifetime and hold its resale value. IMO buy the ...

What about DPMS? http://www.dpmsinc.com/ They have several interesting calibers in the AR platform such as 6.5 Creedmoor and 260 Remington. Both are 6.5mm rounds which have a very high ballistic coefficient-good for long range. When I shot high power, there was nobody in the AR game except Colt. Now...

Dan, In my opinion, only two types of shooters worry about pellet size: new shooters and world class shooters. Unless you are in the latter group, don't waste your time and money because you will not see any difference. Just shoot good quality pellets of nominal 4.50 size (or whatever) and have fun....

I bought the Rink 7 degree grip for my Anschutz LP@ Junior because I needed the additional yaw adjustment and I am very satisfied with my purchase. If you think you need the extra 7 degrees angle, more or less, go for it. The standard Steyr grip adjustments still work, but offset by 7 degrees to the...

Stu, Assuming equal quality barrels, the intrinsic accuracy of a short and long barrel should be the same. A long barrel will provide a higher velocity due to the longer bore time, although for 10m air pistol I believe that is insignificant. A long barrel usually has a longer sight radius which shou...

Alex, I think what you are experiencing is entirely normal, as unnerving as that may be. I am 65 and am not as steady as I was 20 years ago. It's part of getting old; muscle tone, fine motor control, and vision degrade. Older golfers get a similar affliction that is called the yips. You may be able ...
