Re: Controlling a shaky hold/pistol choice questions
Your numbers are neat but useless. Just eyeball it. While I know such practical empiricism works- it offends my machinist and statistical sense. Once "eyeballed" the result is measurable- and the answer to the question. I would think that the sport has the maturity to know that a front po...

Re: Sad news
Wow, that's horrible news. I'm really sorry to hear that, life is so unfair sometimes. Hang in there Don
Crazy coincidence, I lived in Corvallis for a few years with my ex girlfriend while attending OSU and I've ate at that Shari's many times.

Re: FWB P30 Trigger Shoe
I am sure the plastic trigger shoe broke because the previous owner had overtightened the screw. I was the person who posted a brass replacement trigger blade for the OEM FWB trigger shoe. I'm not sure if the seller on ebay is Mark Wisniewski, he's the owner of European Custom Accessories. https://...

FWB P30 Trigger Shoe
Just bought a P30 and it came with a broken trigger shoe. Does anybody know where I can find a trigger shoe for the P30? I've already emailed FWB. I'm hoping to find someone in the US. Somebody actually made a post here for this exact part but it's been three years since their post so I'm looking fo...

Re: I HATE IT!
Gamo Compact - Responsible for putting too many young people off of pistol shooting. I started with a Gamo Compact, still shooting it actually, til my new pistol gets here in the mail anyway(just purchased a FWB P30). I found it to be a perfect first 10m pistol. The grip and feel are nice and the t...

Re: How to find matches
You may want to see if the Portland Rifle and Pistol Club has air pistol matches (https://portlandrifleandpistol.wordpress.com/). It's right around the corner. In the Seattle metro area (150 to 200 miles north of you, less than 6 hours even with nasty Seattle traffic) you would want to check in wit...

Re: How to find matches
I emailed two people at the NRA and both of them were/are more than willing to help and sent me some good info and contacts in my area. And both told me to not hesitate to ask for more help if I need it. I'm super excited! I love the NRA!

Re: How to find matches
Thanks for the help but I've already searched those websites. I did email the NRA Air Pistol head guy though. I think I might just have to wait til I can become a member at a CMP affiliated club though. I know I'll at the very least be able to hang around and practice at their indoor 10-meter range....

How to find matches
I've done a good amount of searching and can't find any info on 10 meter air pistol competition in my area, within 6 hours drive preferably. I did find out that the gun club that I'm on the wait list to become a member is affiliated with the CMP and they have an indoor 10m air range on their propert...
