Thanks for everyone's advice and opinions. I have also talked to a couple of other air pistol coaches. So what we're going to do is set the Crossman aside and use the IZH with scope for silhouettes. Sorry Rover - I see your point. What we need isn't necessarily the most expensive. I'll look into that BSA. Banduro60 - thanks for that heads-up on the rapid fire. Good ideas. We have a cheap red dot and a scope. We'll have him try all ways then let him decide. After all, he needs to be pro-active in this. Thanks. Then if he wants red dot or scope we'll buy quality for the distances.
