There's been early "talks" but nothing firm. Every effort will be made to have shooting included. If you include the MLAIC events, I'll come and shoot. Each host country has the flexibility to structure the shooting events to their satisfaction, probably taking into account local interest...

WMG's in Torino

There are five USA shooters here in Torino, and man it sure is HOT.

I met Spenser and Ray Andrews, both from Australia.

The first medal ceremony is this afternoon. Up dates to follow.

I am not sure i would trust the word of one of the event organizers on this subject unless it was accompanied by a copy of the reg in question from what ever Italian agency regulates the importation of firearms for competition purposes. Perhaps, but I would not want to be turned back at Italian cus...

Nube question, what's the minimum age?
For Pistol/Rifle shooting at Turin, 30 years old. This can vary by sport and varies at different World Masters Games. At Sydney, it was 30 years for shooting(fixed my error).

ETA: Mr. Bickar, you should definately try out for Top Shot. I think you will definately make it. I agree with Mrs. B...

I asked the WMG's people about air guns counting toward the three gun limit. They responded that they do count as one of the three allowed firearms.

Two National Champions, Olympic team members, national record holders, and more. Also distinguished spectators.

Even the Colorado shooters, all of them.

Fantastic photos at a great event.

WMG - Who is going?

Not too much time left to sign up for the World Masters Games in Torino. Who is going to be there? Wayne Harris and I, both from the Denver area, are signed up. Any Canadians or Aussies? It would be great to meet again with others I shot with in Sydney and Edmonton. Italian law limits guns you bring...

Dan Norwood is still the armourer for the All Guard Pistol Team. I spent the last week with this group, and Dan, at the Phoenix Desert Midwinter matches.

I have attended the WMG in Edmonton and Sydney, and was very disappointed when shooting was dropped from the Torino games. I wrote polite emails requesting shooting be reinstated. And I received polite responses. Now that shooting is back, there are currently three shooters in the Denver area planni...

We visited this facility and it is more advanced than any shooting complex I have ever seen. Thanks to Heidi for finding this site. Sorry, but the video narration is in German, but the vid...

Thank you for letting US know. A bunch of Denver, CO shooters attended the WMG (which included NRA matches) in Edmonton in 2005. And Calgary is even closer. This is very tempting. The Canadian permits required are a bit easier than the Aussie licensing requirements for import and transport. I will b...
