Re: Hämmerli SP-20 Front Sight

If you can't get a higher front sight you might like to do the following.
Get a piece of thin metal and cut it to the same width as the sight but a bit higher and fix it to the sight with super glue. Spray it with sight black and you're good to go.

Morini buffer adjustment

I have just bought a second hand Morini CM22 and would like to know how to adjust the recoil buffer to the factory setting.
I don't know if the previous owner had it set for soft ammo or higher power stuff.

Re: Updated Sight Adjustment Charts

Why are the charts for free pistol and sport pistol calibrated at 50 feet?
They are shot at 50 metres and 25 metres.

Re: Morini CM84E accidentally discharging

I may have found the reason. I removed the action from the grip to have a close look at the workings and found that the infra red receiver had rotated and was not receiving the light beam from the emitter. This would have the same effect as having a finger on the trigger as far as the safety was con...

Morini CM84E accidentally discharging

Recently my CM84E has started to discharge on closing the loading lever. It has never done this before and I am wondering what the cause is. It did this three times today in a club match and I resorted to switching the trigger off while loading to prevent it discharging. Ammunition was SK Standard p...

Just curious, if on loading, the gun fires without the trigger being pressed as in this case, is it counted as a competition shot or is it a malfunction?

Didn't think you were allowed .45s in Aus anymore?
.45 calibre is allowed in a couple of disciplines, but not IPSC.

Have tried CCI and the gun did not like that diet at all... Same with Fiocchi, just wouldnt work reliable. I am now back the Eley Sport and only had...

Expensive ammo

This dealer in Australia is selling Olimp-R for $42 AUD per box of 50.
I bet he's not shifting many.
Look in the Accessories page.

Re: Do you accurize you pistol on bench vice/rest ?

Please explain to me why I can't accurize my air pistol on bench? I adjusted my LP10 on bench vice with proper sub-six alignment. Pistol shot one hole grouping from bench vice dead center. But when I tried it out standing, the grouping is very off center, even though the alignment is same. Could so...

Try Ebay

Hi Fortitudo, You can get them on Ebay for a few dollars, I've just ordered two packs of ten for a total $7.98 AUD (post free).
My advice to all owners of the 84E is to keep the old 15V batteries, don't throw them away, you may need the cases one day for re-packing.

I'm puzzled, that with the 15v. alkaline batteries still available, discussion regarding assembling them using button cells, is still being posted. I wouldn't waste my time assembling one. Paul The OP said he couldn't find any 15V batteries, the DIY version is therefor an option for him. Also, the ...

If you wish to stack cells, take note of the correct type. They aren't SR44 cells, the size designations are as per the picture below.
