Re: GRIP PUTTY

I have seen T Rink working. I asked him about the putty and he told me dentists use the same. This is just for modelling the grip while you're there, it won't be durable enough to use. When you're done he'll trace that model into a computerized model, which then is used to produce your final grip. ...

Re: LP50 questions

I noticed something while shooting my LP50 yesterday, which is a potential problem if you were to have a magazine with >5 shots capacity: The way the magazine well is designed means that none of the pellets in the mag will be fully exposed on the right side of the gun, when the mag is inserted all t...

... a 6 round mag". Ask Steyr and its like blasphemy. Design your 6-shot magazine in a 3D tool, like Sketchup (free). Find a good friend with a cnc machine. I'm sure you can sell a few on eBay as well... The scandinavian countries have a field target competition in common, 6 shots is used for ...

Re: Twitch Shot in 10 Meter Air Pistol

I've used a white correction pen to make a white dot at the bottom of my front sight. It's placed so that I can see it (and focus on it) while lowering my gun into the target, but it's not visible when I have my front and rear sight aligned ready for my shot. These days I don't use it that much but ...

Re: Evo10e grip

Who is the shooter in the picture? If it's a small or perhaps extra small grip it might explain the extra width towards the back. It's definitely not a Rink grip, as they have a screw in the lower part of the grip (in the back). Perhaps it could be a Nill grip but they're not good at marketing so I ...

Yep, national exception to the international rules in Norway as well, but only if there's no target changer or electronic targets.

Re: Spotting Scopes in Air Pistol

I don't remember seeing anything in the rules, but I've been told by the old-timers here that spotting scopes are allowed if you don't have a motorized target changer.

Re: Leaky AT safe to use ?

Don't stand in front of them while filling. Treat them like you would treat the gun - only point in safe directions and you should be fine. Is the 10 year rule enforced strictly where you live (and shoot)? If so you can consider buying new cylinders, instead of fixing them. But check the prices befo...

Re: 5 shot air pistol

So is this something big in Europe? Internationally? To my understanding it's not big, but it exists. I've shot both 40 shot falling plates and 40 shot standard air in both Norway and Scotland (natl champs). In Norway they're not super-popular, only a few clubs have competitions (especially because...

Re: LP50 questions

The LP50 trigger is not in the same league as the LP10. The travel needed to fire the gun (2nd stage) is far greater than the LP10 or EVO10, and is also has less adjustment options. The LP50e trigger could be compared to the LP10/LP10e triggers, but unfortunately they stopped making that. I replaced...

Re: Twitch Shot in 10 Meter Air Pistol

Question for the group. Out of a sixty shot string my hand will actually twitch on two shots. It is my wrist that twitches, not my trigger finger. I believe I am squeezing the trigger the same way. The twitch is coming from my wrist. I've experienced the same thing a few times, but I've learned to ...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers

I've had this problem with one of my magazines, and there was a clear improvement when I turned the magazine spring 180 degrees. It's worth trying out, it only takes a minute to open the magazine and flip it. If the spring is weaker at the back-end it will push the ammo down into the magazine, inste...

Re: MegaLink targets too bright!

The light level on the Megalink may be adjusted by use of the button on the circuit board on the right hand side of the unit behind the front cover. The default setting is maximum and I seem to remember that you have to press the button twice before it will change the setting, one level per press. ...

Re: Question about Steyr adapter and pumps

I'm pump shopping, but not sure if there is something unique about the Steyr LP10 adapter. I've found Foster to DIN adapters, but the BSPP side seems different. This, for example: http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Quick_Disconnect_Male_Fitting_O_Ring/2841 Is lacking the tapered "nose" of my S...

Re: Steyr LP10 "puffing" after dry-firing...

My 5 year old LP10 started doing this earlier this year, after I increased the velocity. I hadn't touched the velocity setting since I bought the gun new in 2011, and up until then I never heard any puffing sound either. I attended the national championships here in Norway and Megalink were testing ...

Re: Steyr Sport Evo10 and Evo10E

It's obviously a matter of personal preference but I can't see the point of a trigger stop on an electronic trigger. The normal reason for a trigger stop is to limit the trigger travel when it goes lighter after it has gone off (normally a reduction of 50-100g on a mechanical AP trigger). That is o...
