Re: Problem with a Centra Spy/Centra riser block
So the sight attaches to the rifle with no riser, but with the 8mm riser it won't clamp? The top of the sight riser was milled too narrow. You could mess around with a metal shim but I'd just send the riser back. It's not some sort of Anschutz/Walther front rail adapter, the Walther front rail is m...

Problem with a Centra Spy/Centra riser block
About 6-8 weeks ago I bought a new Centra Spy short along with a new Centra block8 riser set(8mm riser). I put the riser on the receiver and put the sight on top of the riser, but the sight would not fasten to the riser. Included with the sight was a 4mm riser block, I tried using that and the sight...

Re: Sergei Martynov still using his old Anschutz...and 1 bre
I had seen pictures of Martynov shooting a Bleiker so it was great joy (for someone shooting a 1807) seeing Martynov shooting his non-tubed 1913 in a wood stock.

Re: Prone Shooting Mats
I cant speak for the AHG Anschutz one but I've used an ESE mat and also old version of Kurt Thune, and my personal preference over the two is the Kurt Thune.
This seems to be the general consensus among the shooters here.
Elbows get more tired (and more sore) on the ESE mats.

Re: Of prone, padding, problems and the ISSF.
Me personally I'm just using a thin sweatshirt, or a long sleeved t-shirt. 7.5.7 Underclothing 7.5.7.1 Clothing worn under the shooting jacket must not be thicker than 2.5 mm single thickness or 5 mm double thickness. The same applies to all clothing worn under the trousers. 7.5.7.2 Only normal pers...

Re: Internal diameter of extension tubes
Regarding polishing the inside of the tube, have you thought about using a barrel hone?

Re: Sight extension tube for Anschutz 1807?
I'm using an Champion Choice tube on my 1807 not bad for around $80 with a custom size of an adapter. The tube itself comes with a dovetail and threaded holes for mounting the sight block. Only down side I can see with mine is that when I remove it and remount it, there is a great shift in POI, I'm ...
