Re: Motorcycle Rifle Case?
mtncwru - Great answers! Thorough, detailed, factual, and relevant. I agree that the car (or truck) is better than the motorcycle for that. Still, when it's not been my turn to have the family car I've carried rifles on the back of my motorcycle - in a locked hard case, strapped down securely on th...

Re: Motorcycle Rifle Case?
GREAT help, thank you so much! Yes, I'm the proud new Mama of the FWB 602 from Jim! I'm jealous that you live in S.D., that's my retirement goal in 40 years. I do have a truck, I just get atrocious gas mileage so I rarely take it out. Good point about the crashing possibility though. I've done that ...

Motorcycle Rifle Case?
Any good ideas for a case for moi? I just ordered a rifle from Jim E. but it won't arrive with a case. I ride my motorcycle a lot so I'm wondering if there is a soft-sided sling type case I could use? Not sure if there are any legal considerations either? I am aware that I'll need a hard case if I w...

Looks like he's newer to rifles also, mostly a pistol/crossbow dude?
I won't be hunting unless it's bugs, I love the fluffy little guys too much but don't have a problem eating them. :)
I will be a can-killer, range-visitor only as I think it's even illegal to shoot on my own property out here.

No idea what to get... help!
I'm spinning my wheels not knowing what to get! Help talk some sense into me! I have used a buddy's AR20 off and on and it was fine. Didn't love it, felt heavy compared to the couple very expensive rifles I got to hold for half a second. :D My Dad has a huge powder gun collection so I'm familiar wit...

Re: Fwb 800x vs 800 alum
I don't think D.C. just meant what they look like... From pictures it looks like it's just the cocking lever, adjustability of the butt and stabilizer piece (?) across the barrel that are fancier on the X. Even the sights look the same. From FWB's webiste (where the pix came from): X model: The mode...

I don't get to feel either, no shops. I was asking between the competition and alutec, not anatomical due to price.

Re: Which LG400 model?
I don't feel the need to pay extra for the e features. The anatomic is SO expensive so I can't decide between waiting long enough to save more $$ or just get what I can afford now. I'm not competing at this time, maybe in the future if I get comfy. :D It's just for fun for me and a good excuse to fo...

Which LG400 model?
I am looking to upgrade to a Walther LG400 from my Hammerli AR20. I'm leaning towards the competition model simply based on price. I'd love to hear from anyone who has one of these about if I will be happy with this or if I should save $ another year to get the fancier expert model. (I was also cons...
