Re: Sight Picture Troubles
She recently has had a eye exam. No problems. She just recently started using eye glasses instead of soft contacts when shooting. She has a pretty good hold in standing averages 94/100. Really do not want her changing to a post front sight. We can try larger apertures but again she has no problem ke...

My daughter states she is now having problems determining if the target is in the middle. we have used Anshutz 3.7 - 4.0 18mm clear w/ bevel ring sized apertures.
Any ideas what to try?? I know your brain suppose to be able to that automatically. ???

Adding weight to Anschutz air rifle
Looking for clever, economical ways to add about 2.5 lbs. to a Anschutz 8002. I would like to add to barrel and rear stock for a good balance.
Thanks for you ideas in advance!!

Crosman Challenger 2009 sight in troubles
Sent it back to factory because it was shooting to the left (2-3 ring) and the rear sights were maxed out. Received it back from the factory with no improvement. Very unsatisfied with the rifle. Was not sure what to do next. I adjusted the barrel with the front barrel band to the right to zero the r...

Re: Adding accessory rail to Savage mark 1or 2?
Well sounds pretty good. Are you able to post a couple photos of the work? It's seems to me that since the rail is just sitting on top with only 2 screws it might be flimsy? the rail is not real stout and in other installation there are several screws in the mount. When the kids tighten up a sling i...

Re: Adding accessory rail to Savage mark 1or 2?
I don't know I'll have to get a measurement. The places that get screws: action screws, sling pin... there is a build up or a synthetic block that the screw goes into. So I think it is pretty thin. Just though i post to see if anyone has figured a way.

Re: Adding accessory rail to Savage mark 1or 2?
And not only that there is not a lot of material there. I don't think any adhesive really sticks to that synthetic material.

Re: Adding accessory rail to Savage mark 1or 2?
Ooops I meant synthetic stock.
Yeah I managed to add a l pin a little lower on the fore stock which helps with a sling, but I thought If I could some how mount a rail that would open up a way to mount
a hand block, hand stop... There is just not a lot of material there.

I ended up sanding the inside of the hook a little bit and then tapped it on. I think it is good now.

My daughter got her new 1907/1914 anschutz today!! Man it was just like Christmas! Now I have a stupid question. I cannot get the bottom hook to go on the butt plate. I even took the clamping screw all the way out and pried open the opening, to try to get the shaft to go through it. It will not go o...

Needing advice on Anschutz rifle models
What would be the determining factors on which model to go with?
1907 in a 1914 walnut stock or 1913 in a 1914 walnut stock.
I can see the 1913 barrel is 1 1/4"longer with more rifling than the 1907.
They have different cheek plate designs.
Pros and cons would be helpful.
Thanks
