Re: Light/heavy pellets for pistol/rifle
Thanks, everyone: I was just wondering if there was some rule of thumb that explained why heavy pellets were marketed for rifle and light for pistol that I hadn't heard about, so this is all really interesting.

Light/heavy pellets for pistol/rifle
Please forgive me for asking what might be a stupid question, but I've yet to find a good answer to this. Both H&N and RWS have heavy and light versions of their 10m wadcutter pellets. H&N used to market these as "rifle" and "pistol" pellets, respectively, but now just ca...

Re: Scatt MX-02 Trainer
I'm another happy customer who's running the Scatt MX-02 on a MacBook Pro with Parallels running Windows 7. The only issue I've had with it is that Parallels can be a bit fussy about recognising the USB connection to the Scatt sensor if you unplug and replug it when it's not running (e.g. if you clo...

I've made an appointment to visit Iqbal Uhbi, so I'll see how I get on with that!

Re: Air pistol grip customisation in Britain?
Both are fairly aloof. Easiest way to get Iqbal is through Facebook. Grip customisation is not that difficult, what are you looking to do? Thanks for the reply, Remmy. I'm at a point where I think that my grip needs some work (e.g. while I can shoot reasonable groups on a good day, the group moves ...

Re: Air pistol grip customisation in Britain?
Thanks for the reply, Rutty!
I saw Tom's poster in the NSRA shop when I collected my pistol, but I didn't get a reply from him when I emailed him a couple of weeks ago.
I'll see if I can track down some contact details for Iqbal.

Re: Attaching Scatt to LP10 / LP10E
Right, here's where I've got so far. The 'protect the cylinder with masking tape' idea works fairly well, but the fitting between the barrel shroud and the cylinder is so tight that it's very hard to tighten the cylinder up properly when the Scatt attachment band is in place. I've also tried the 're...

Re: Attaching Scatt to LP10 / LP10E
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
Dave, are you suggesting that I should try removing the barrel shroud, attaching the Scatt sensor around the cylinder, then re-attaching the barrel shroud? I just wanted to be 100% sure of what you're suggesting before I start removing parts…

Re: Attaching Scatt to LP10 / LP10E
Good idea, David. I guess it doesn't make any difference if the cylinder is out of date enough that I wouldn't want to put compressed air in it!

Re: Attaching Scatt to LP10 / LP10E
Thanks, Rutty: that's very helpful! Screwing the cylinder on with a layer of masking tape and the Scatt attachment strip in there is probably going to take some practice, but it's a lot better than any of the ideas I've tried so far!

Attaching Scatt to LP10 / LP10E
Hi everyone, I've recently bought a Scatt MX-02 and, although I'm happy with how it works I've discovered that attaching it to my LP10E is… less than elegant. As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to attach it to the air cylinder before you attach the cylinder to the pistol because you wouldn't be ...
