Re: Scatt not working..
It may not be the software. Check all cables and connectors carefully for damage. If a cable has been walked on, sharply bent, or pinched, it could be damaged inside. If possible, use a continuity tester to verify that the cables are in good shape. Be sure the cable connectors are clean and securely...

Re: Some help with translation please
Well, that all makes sense. At first I couldn't reconcile the Beste Teiler numbers until it occurred to me that they might be shown in 100ths of a millimeter from dead center. Then the numbers in parens could be the shot number. You would need that kind of precision to keep from having a lot of ties...

Re: Some help with translation please
remmy223, Do you have any idea what system the data came from? I think you will have more luck in deciphering this if you can find a manual for that system. Even if it's in German, translating any descriptions they give might shed some light. You can translate the labels, but that obviously doesn't...

"this is a big improvement, but I also count in the psychological factor in that I was really concentrating! once I get used to the new stance then the bad habits can start to creep in. " This is an interesting thread. I've got a similar 'flier' thing going on and it's becoming more and mo...

Re: Shooting Term
I'm not familiar with that exact term or it's usage, but I can think of some other possibilities. Check this page.
http://www.longrangebpcr.com/TCFacts.htm
Item 5, 6, or 7 could have spawned the term.

AP Rear Sight Position
The Walther LP400 manual states that the rear sight should be positioned directly over the wrist. I looked at the Steyr LP10 and the FWB P44 manuals and couldn't find any mention of a recommended position. Since the LP400 rear sight can be adjusted considerably forward and aft of this position, I'm ...

Re: No True Two Stage Triggers?
Thanks for the responses everyone. RMCA is probably right, it's not really needed for a strictly target gun. BTW a good video on how a two stage trigger works is here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHy2rlTbzis It's a rifle trigger, but it works similarly in a pistol. Watch the sear movement at t...

No True Two Stage Triggers?
I'm curious why the LP10, 162M, P44, and LP400 don't have true two stage triggers while the IZH 46M does. I've looked at all the manuals on these pistols and the video on the LP400 and they all seem to be a single stage trigger with a simple trigger preload against a spring. Apparently this design w...

Re: LP-400's air cylinder's threads wearing off
Looks like something similar was discussed a couple of years ago on TT. There was at least one indication that the situation could be dangerous if the threads got too worn.

Re: LP-400's air cylinder's threads wearing off
antispar, If it is the cylinder threads that are wearing, why did the pistols themselves need to be repaired? Were there any comments from Walther about the matter? If it's just the cylinders, I wonder if maybe there was a batch of cylinders that weren't properly heat treated or something. Did Walth...

Re: Comments wanted for AP20 PRO versus LP400
pgmlml thanks for the info. I don't know if you shot one with a slimline cylinder oriented forward or the standard cylinder oriented downwards, but I suspect the latter would have a lot more muzzle flip. I did discover that the AP20 requires the cocking lever to be almost vertical for dryfire. That ...

Re: ACE lenses - for Champion Olympic shooting glasses
Here's a link to a Cabela's page that describes the general uses of colored lenses in shooting glasses. This info might be more useful than knowing exactly what wavelengths are passed or blocked. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting-Glasses-Buyers-Guide/532383.uts For info on wavelengths passed o...

Comments wanted for AP20 PRO versus LP400
Hello everybody. I've been reading this forum for a while now, but just joined and this is my first post. I've been shooting 10m AP informally for a few years with an IZH 46M. There aren't many AP shooters around where I live (SW Utah), so there have been only a few local matches. I had a shop built...
