Re: calling on all : walther SSP owners

Anyone know how many 96-U were made? It depends you have the ones with the black frame and the ones with the gold frame. There are other subtitle changes, but not so many. But it's a shame the barrelweight/sleeve wasn't included in the pistol when they originally sold it. I think the overall price ...

Re: calling on all : walther SSP owners

I'm simply wondering about that 5 negatives votes here, because I can't find any detailed complain in the postings (apart from cleaning perhaps). ;) Can those people explain? If its just the cleaning that's difficult... If its a bad trigger and lots of breakage then it's a negative vote worth. Its ...

Re: calling on all : walther SSP owners

I'm probably going to pass up on the unique 96U deal. Owner was angry because I was disappointed the original box, testcard, screwdrivers where missing. Well that's not mint in a box... Even when I asked to check the gun he was angry. He said "you've shot the gun some weeks ago and that's enoug...

Re: calling on all : walther SSP owners

You may find spare parts for the 96u almost impossible to find. For this reason alone the Walther would be a better proposition. The deal is a MINT unique 96U (incl. all the weights) Price € 800 euro's For the people that don't know unique http://unique.skivebom.com/manufacturer/des96u.html And I h...

calling on all : walther SSP owners

I've got a couple of question for the SSP owners. (shooting with sights no scope) 1. Are you still happy with your pistol. 2. How many rounds did you already shot true it. 2c. How old is your pistol? 3. What kind of breakages did you have ? 3B. Did you replace some parts already? 3C. Do you have spa...

The Morini is completely unknown by me. I never even have seen one.
I thought their designer works now at matchguns.

Re: help me with chosing

Try both the Pardini and the Walther, they are quiet different in weight distribution and grip angle. You have to find out what's best for you. Changing to a Nill grip on the Pardini will get you closer to the same grip angle as the Walther also. Both are reliable pistols that will serve you for ma...

Re: help me with chosing

The tuned Ruger is a great gun, but I've shot a few times with a Hammerli 208, Unique 96 and a old GSP they all felt better. It's not about a toy, I know I can do better with a match pistol, I've proven myself with a few of them. The sights, trigger and balance are all better in them. Its the full p...
