Grip Force vs Grip Angle
Hi! I found myself firing my AP with my hand very relaxed! So relaxed that the muzzle is always pointing down, with my wrist locked. I adjust the grip and the problem seems even worst, because I relax my hand even more and the pistol stars falling from my hand. If I grab the gun with a bit more forc...

Re: Has anyone done a pellet quality visual comparison
I don't like H&N pellets because they are soft and I got some smashed pellets on one box... Never seen that happen with RWS R10!

Millimeter paper on the wall! Don't forget to measure the height of your front sigth at the range, so you can have an exact reference of the height you should be raising your pistol...

Re: You can't buy it!
I think, we as shooters, should have the capability to feel what's wrong with us, and what we need! At a certain point a new gun or a new gadget may help, but if I can make 25 tens (out of 60 shots) why can't I make 60 tens?! The obvious conclusion would be: It's not the gun... But my question is: i...

Re: No True Two Stage Triggers?
I think this graphis can resume everything, and in the end, what counts is the ability to dial the trigger so you can get the "curve" that you want! My LP400 and my sold Benelli kite had a 1st stage spring that would sum to the second stage spring. This means that the 1st spring will be ad...

Re: How to get into "high shoulder" position?
I'm not a big fan of the high shoulder position, but I like the mid shoulder position. It feels like: lift the arm, pull it back while your leaning the body back, and then let it rest naturaly in place! In the begining it feel strange, but than starts to feel natural. This only works if your feet an...

Maybe he just believes that he can make a better scores with the Morini!
Dindn't he beat the FP world record with a Morini?! (though the the story I heard was that he was pissed off because one judge made him remove some kind of "wish bracelet" !)

Re: LP-400's air cylinder's threads wearing off
I would be a good ideia not to overscrew it! I tried grease once, but had to clean it because it would get very dirt and i was afraid it would go inside the gun! The question is, are people overscrewing bolts and cylinders?! As I said before, when I was a kid I used to overscrew everything... and I ...

Re: LP-400's air cylinder's threads wearing off
NO Steel at all! At least the magnet didn't stick....
and yes, i've compared the threads with the lp300 and the size/pitch is very different!
Every time I screw the cylinder I try to be as gentle as possible... on the other hand I know walther will fix it when it breaks :D

Re: keep the Ruger? or...?
what kind of matches do you plan to shoot?
You nannot compare a Ruger MKiii to a FWB93... in the essence their are diferent guns!
Some matches dont allow anatomic grips, while on ISSF pistol events you wont get good scores without a nice anatomic grip!

Re: European Championship - Walther LP400 takes Gold
Good question!
As far as I know, Walther doesn't have an electronic trigger for Air pistol (only the SSP .22lr).
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the German team athletes were trying out some new electronic triggers!
Walther is make an huge effort to gain some market in the shooting competition!

European Championship - Walther LP400 takes Gold
I just watched the European Championship final 10m Air Pistol Men, and was very glad to see the Walther LP400 taking gold! I've been struggling so much with mine, go get the right setup, that is a relief to see that it's all my fault ;) final weapons used: 4x Lp400 1x Lp300 3x Steyr LP10 On the othe...

It was a standard cylinder, in the horizontal position!
This kind of weapons are never a good investment, because in a near future if you want to sell it, nobody wants one and the value goes down...

Re: Opinion wanted on new pistol purchase
"The LP400 isn't bad either - but the ones that I have seen down here didn't impress me in terms of sear overlap adjustment; maybe they have fixed that now? In my inexpert view the sear grind angle wasn't quite right[?!?] and as a consequence the grub screw did not affect the sear overlap in a...
