Re: How do I know my grip fits me?
Many thanks for the replies guys, all of this makes sense. I'm certainly not thinking about making modifications yet, it's a new grip to me but I did need a new one. My hand physically didn't fit into the grip that came with my pistol and after shooting the new grip for a couple of hours last night ...

How do I know my grip fits me?
Hi all, I'm pretty new to 10m AP shooting. I've bought a morini and managed to find a medium rink grip. Once the shelf was adjusted it feels lovely to pick up and shoot. However, I'm wondering if setting up my grip is as simple as this? Are there any rules or guides I can follow to optimally set the...

It's probably dried grease in the trigger unit, I'd give it a clean out and service.

Re: Morini 162EI Grips
I ordered three Rink grips for Benelli Kites on October 10th last year for the team I help coach. They arrived in late February. Some of that is shipping & customs delays, but it took about 3 months to ship. I think there's been a flood of orders due to the sudden interest in Olympic air pistol...

Re: Morini 162EI Grips
I don't doubt the price, the work that goes into them must be immense and the inletting doesn't look simple at all with the circuit board area. I'm just wondering what else is out there, I've seen the smart grip which looks cool but they don't fit my pistol. The Rink grips look lovely but seem to be...

Morini 162EI Grips
Hi all, I recently bought a Morini CM162CI. It was a bit of a project that hadn't been used for a while, it wouldn't hold air and had consistency issues but for the money I couldn't say no. Now I've got it shooting lovely again my attention has moved to the grip, which is painfully small for me. It'...

A 5mm allen key will also fit, you don't need a T35.

Simulating nerves in training
Hi All, I'm hoping I can get some help to improve my competition scores. I've had some trouble recently shooting in a local club league with nerves. Pre-competition I get a mixture of nervousness and excitement and this has only come back to me recently. Pre-Covid I was fairly relaxed but as I'm get...

DIY Target Retrevial
Hello All, I've searched the various threads on this forum for information about shooting at home, and home ranges. Since I got into pistol shooting last winter I have been shooting out of the back window of my garage, its the only safe place at home to shoot. But the walk out the garage, through th...

Re: What do you do between shots?
the best way for me to focus on the next shot, its to spend 20 to 30 seconds before unfocused... I don't believe anyone can stay focused for 90 minutes or so... Right! One only has to stay "focused" for about 6-8 seconds. You can spend the rest of the time indulging in sexual fantasies. I...

Vertical strings on targets
Hi all, Over the past 6 months or so I think I am beginning to get a grasp of pistol shooting... In my back yard with my FAS 604 at nearly 10m (9.3m) I can pretty much say I will score a 9 with 90% of shots... which from where I was when I started I am very happy with. Lately I've been averaging 46 ...

Hi All, I seem to have hit a brick wall in my progress. I am a total novice at pistol shooting but rifle shooting I am/used to be pretty good at (not paper punching 10m kind, a sport called HFT) I do seem to have hit a brick wall in my progress, scores have been hovering around the same mark over an...

never flown overseas myself with guns - but know plenty that have You should not have a problem. Tell your airline (you may need to pay more) - and declare it when you book in and land. They may inspect it, they may not. Ask your airline what protocol is regarding the case - some want it locked, som...

Re: First night with the FAS604
I really took my time on this - made certain not to touch the trigger unless I felt the shot was a good one. I presume that you didn't mean this. Get your finger positioned on the trigger before you start your raise. If the 604's trigger has been adjusted correctly then you should be able to take u...

Re: First night with the FAS604
You will need to increase the fps until it cuts clean holes then assess the results. Congratulations. It's the targets 100% I have not put the FAS on my chronograph yet but I did shoot the targets with my 12ftlbs rifle and they also tore up like this. They are just crap targets from ebay. I had 6 B...

First night with the FAS604
So I picked up a FAS604 at the weekend after a while of reading about 10m pistol - I needed something to do once the winter hit and I had to take my motorcycle off the road... so this is it. Last night I built a 10m pulley system into the garden out the back of the garage and tonight I have my first...

Re: Long time lurker...
If you want to shoot at 10 meters you have good advice in the answers above. I would just add this. Have you consider shooting indoor at your current 7 yards, with reduced targets? Somewhere in the 65/70% of the original. That would give you a similar sight picture and the ability to shoot indoors....

Re: Long time lurker...
Ok I have been busy :) I have a 2x2 post in the garden - solid as a rock and no concrete used so in summer I can remove it again when the garden is in use. 2 clothesline pulleys - one on the post, one on the back wall of the garage with 4mm nylon string going back and forth. I have a cross piece off...
