Re: Crowd behaviour at ISSF Finals
last years (december) Camp Perry Open (air rifle tournament) the finals were quite loud. they passed out noisemakers to those who wanted them and they blared Journey "dont stop believing" over the pa system... earlier in the year at a match there during the finals, a competitor turned arou...

Re: Camp Perry New Huts
this is what i know about the hutments... east of Niagara (the main entry road between Harmon and Ariel) was a bunch of rotten, falling in on themselves Double Letter huts. AA001, GG012 etc. the are ALL GONE... on the west side of the road many of the older huts (that were in relatively decent condi...

number of refills from scuba tank
not enough specific terms to get a decent return on the search so.... out of a full scuba tank (80ci) how many refills can one expect for a standard Anschutz removable cylinder? just curious because weve got a tank at our club and will be filling it and then ill have some place to start "counti...

See attached link. http://competitions.nra.org/documents/pdf/compete/rules/rul_sbr_14.pdf Corey thanks! id never heard of such a thing... i thought they shot...

scuba tank adapter
my daughter shot in a big match last month and their scuba tank, had a valve on it that allowed for a yoke type adapter so anschutz and fwb and walther cylinders could be screwed into it but also so the hose type attachment could be used for the air guns that used that method (quick disconnect) for ...

Re: height of targets on 50 foot or 10 meter ranges
thanks! but i guess what im looking for is thus: do the target frames have to have the ability to be adjusted, even if they are being adjusted? our range (10m and 50ft) is flat to the point of of boredom. its an indoor basement range. on a slab. the pitch is 0.0 degrees... our CURRENT (we just made ...

height of targets on 50 foot or 10 meter ranges
ive been through the entire rule book for ISSF and USAS shooting trying to find these measurments... we set up our range in compliance with CMP target height dimensions but the question was whether they were compliant for USAShooting Rules... this is the ONLY THING i could find that applies: USAS 6....

just be aware that AIR RIFLE rules are entirely different than smallbore...

Re: Customising Anschutz Precise
our club (for better or worse) just built a overly exotic aluminum (precise type) stock for the savage mkII rifles CMP is selling... the guy spearheading this project had them ceracoated... supposedly one of the hardest finishes youll ever encounter. it will allegedly withstand sandblasting and chem...

... Relative scoring: FWB 800 = 6 Anschutz 8002S2 = 1/2 dz i like that... just and fyi, the 8002 S2 is the same action regardless of whether its in the aluminum or wood stock. my daughter shoots the hardwood (beech?) very well but as she gets more "mature" to be polite, she might end up w...

my pistol shooting experience has been limited (if thats a drawback) to IPSC/USPSA action shooting, PPC (police pistol competition) and other shooting styles with a revolver or 1911 type... are the grip angles on the CO2/PCP match pistols REQUIRED to be so extreme? i tried holding one at a recent ma...
