NRA Advanced Smallbore Camp

by invitation only. a couple of questions on this activity. the application calls for scores of 1090 or 545 (i assume 3x40 or 3x20) my daughter who was given an invitation for this camp, rarely shoots NRA smallbore matches. I believe they are USAS, and while i know USAS and NRA are somewhat affiliat...

Re: Question on Rules

that might be one of those rules like the one a junior at the J.O.s was told: "its against the rules to have your chair so far back from the firing line" (the junior had placed her gear bag on top of her rifle case at the back side of the firing point, and placed her chair just in front of...

cylinder adapter for Anschutz/Feinwerkebau/Walther etc

these babies have quite small orifices in them which i ASSUME acts as a restriction valve to protect the air cylinders... ive got a chance to get a valve that's restricted to slow-fill. according to the specifications it should fill in about 10 seconds... will adding this restrictor valve to the ada...

correlation between 50yd outdoor and 50ft indoor 3-P

id like to think that there's some sort of "cross over" or correlation between scores from shooting outdoors at 50 yards and shooting indoors at 50 feet... i understand the bullseye rings being different sizes etc but doesnt the fact that one target is 3X the distance of the other and that...

Sandy and Karl will do right by juniors, thats for certain... i started my daughter on a used Freeland jacket. th...

I'm sure it was ... he may be busy or off in the boonies for a while. Gotta remember, he is the only person in competitions now ... so he handles all the R, P & SG. This is called being drastically overworked ... I wish him well, but this is not a good position for USAS to put him in. There is ...

Re: J2 Womens AR cutoffs higher than J1 again!

i may be completely off in this but: when i was in the Air Force testing for a promotion, they would have everyone test. those scores were added with all the other points earned for the cycle... after all the testing if there were 200 candidates, but they only had 15 spots, the 15th Airman's score b...

... My guess (and remember it's only a guess) is that she will not make the Round-1 cutoff for SBR nor the Round 2. I just don't think the cutoff will drop that much. It's usually within 1-2 points from the previous year on Round-1 and MAYBE 5 on Round 2. ================= Air is usually in the fir...
