Re: difference between 10 click and 20 click Anschutz sights

thanks everyone... i DOUBT my daughter will do much 200yd shooting with her anschutz (she does PLENTY with her AR-15 along with 300 and 600 yards)... just curious what the big factor was in the price difference. sounds like the canting feature is probably it. i know for my juniors, ive got them set ...

difference between 10 click and 20 click Anschutz sights

other than the money of course... are the 20 click more precise? i.e. 1/2 minute vs 1/4 minute (using a high power analogy) more adjustment? i.e. better for long distance (200yd shooting) an ego thing? IVE got 20 click sights, the "lesser" competitor only has 10 click sights Anschutz reall...

Re: precise stock for Anschutz 8002 KI S2

I think it would be considerably cheaper to sell the 8002 and buy a 9003 Precise. I also don't know how the isolation dampers would fit a 8002 action. That area may be different in the actions? The Precise stock for a 54 action is 1945.00 plus the forend for 230.00. So 2200ish for and upgrade. A us...

Re: precise stock for Anschutz 8002 KI S2

Joe is a great guy! There's nothing wrong with grinding the snot out of the 8002 wood stock. EVERY ONE of our 8002's has the stock ground out to accommodate the female form better. When it was first suggested that I grind a BRAND NEW 1912 stock for my oldest daughter I about fainted!! Now, (after m...

precise stock for Anschutz 8002 KI S2

are the aluminum precise stocks available separately for these Anschutz? after some serious discussions with heavy hitting air rifle shooters, they all recommend my daughter (a bit curvy) use an aluminum precise stock vs wood stock on her 8002... id rather NOT have to sell the entire rifle and then ...

Re: high scores with Anschutz 1903s

So a '07 in a super stock will suffice vs say a '13 in a precision stock? When she gets there, if she's still interested I want her to have the absolute best.... Leaving aside the stocks for a mo, the only differences between a xx07 barrel and a xx13 barrel are length and weight; the xx13 barrels a...

high scores with Anschutz 1903s

Ive heard you can get TO college shooting a 1903 but to get THROUGH college a higher level rifle is needed.... This isn't for me but for my daughter and a couple of other promising juniors.... At what point (score wise) is a 1903 going to top out before someone is shooting it to it's full potential?...
