Re: Walther CP2 valve seal?

Greetings Chuck, I just started to Monkey around with a new to me CP2. The 14mm hex drive 'should' remove the larger assembly. I have not gone that far, just yet. Looking inside the cylinder, one can see a M14x1.0 brass plug with a screwdriver slot. This is the little assembly that unscrews (right h...

Re: Benelli sight adjuster detent

Greetings, Are the holes "blind"; or, are they drilled straight thru? My memory is poor; but, I think my FAS sight used small bearing balls. You should be able to get the little balls at an industrial bearing supply. I have some 1.5mm and 2mm balls in my parts kit. I hope you live in the U...

"Mazak" cast alloy? Can you post a link to this metal?

Or, is it Zamak, which is familiar to me.

Re: Is it just me or is this forum slowly dying ?

Greetings, I used to host ISU/ISSF matches when the NRA was still in charge of the International program. It was about the same time 'Red Dots' appeared and soon thereafter attendance dwindled. Folks today are looking to 'buy a score' and not willing to take the time to learn the fundamentals of mar...

Re: Krale prohibits Steyr shipment to US?

Greetings,

Please post a link to the statement of no USA sales.

I looked yesterday and found a shipping calculator to send an LP-10 to the USA.

I saw no mention of USA prohibited.

Re: Who shoots other disciplines?

Greetings, NRA shooting is all there is remaining in the North West. With the exception of a 50 foot Indoor Standard Pistol or Center Fire (22lr only) at West Seattle. They also host a 60 shot Air Gun match prior during the Winter months. Lately, I have been shooting a 40-65 Black Powder Cartridge r...

Re: 32 s&w l wc and WST

Greetings,

I have used plenty of WST with 98 grain bullets. 1.6 (one point six) grains worked very well and velocity was about 720 FPS.

WST does not seem to perform well with light charges. Velocity spreads are great.

WST does meter well and is bulkier than most of the usual powders.

Greetings Heavypellet,

What dimensions are your washers?

Outside diameter?

Hole diameter?

Washer thickness?

Height of single washer?

Are all washers identical?

Greetings Leon,

Many thanks.

Prices in Germany are certainly much less than in the USA...

Too bad it is a major effort to import.

Re: Considering my first PCP pistol

Greetings, We use the SCUBA tank method. Research what size tanks are available and can the shop fill them. You need to ask for a DIN 200 valve. Take the fill adapter supplied with the pistol into the dive shop to ensure the correct valve. I have two SCUBA tanks... One is a 100 Cubic Foot tank that ...

Greetings,

Springs are fairly durable. The fail over a long period of time.

I would be checking out the neoprene seals.

Might be a worn seal that holds air today and not tomorrow.

Re: Do you lovingly powder them?

Greetings, Interesting question. I recently tested a Pardini 32 S&W Long barrel that the owner said "would not shoot at 50 feet". I did clean some normal Lead fouling out of the leade of the barrel and when examining it with my bore scope, the lands and grooves had a yellow color. Mech...

Re: NRA - ???? Did someone drop the ball?

Greetings, I do not receive solicitations from the NRA for money. I suspect they know I have little to spare. I have been receiving mailings from Mr. Mike Bloomberg. Within these documents he proudly states how he, personally, has nearly bankrupted the NRA. I am aware the US Supreme Court ruled that...

Re: Pardini 32 ACP OAL 'short vs long'

Greetings,

The Pardini 32 ACP barrels I have seen are throated 0.3125" for the, now discontinued, Hornady 60 XTP that measured 0.311". (Early Hornady 60 XTP used to measure 0.312".)

0.314" bullets do not enter the leade of the barrel chamber.
