Re: Pardini K10 cylinder valve washer?

Greetings, Telephone PardiniUSA and ask if they will put the washer in a normal First Class Letter envelope. Personally, if I were to mail you the washer I would tape it to a piece of paper, address the envelope, apply a stamp, and send it one it's way. Yes, Customs might confiscate your washer; but...

Re: Shipping PCP Air Pistols

Greetings, For shipping a high dollar item, I like to use USPS Registered Mail. You can use a USPS supplied Flat Rate Box. You will have to put "Security Tape" on all the exposed edges. (Brown paper tape with water moistened adhesive.) Probably could mooch some tape from the USPS person. S...

Re: Bullet Sizing 32 S&W

Greetings,

I forgot, there is an outfit named Bear Creek Bullets that offer a swaged 0.314" HBWC.

They almost shot ten ring at 50 yards.

Barrel is an older Pardini HP mounted in a mechanical fixture.

Re: Bullet Sizing 32 S&W

Greetings, I have a Unique DES/32U and the barrel groove diameter is 0.314". Also to note, the chamber in my pistol has a free bore of 0.315" diameter by 0.400" long. Fiocchi bullets probably measure 0.312" diameter. Find some 0.314" bullets and you should be in "tall c...

Re: Revisiting Benelli Kite Service

Greetings, This may be a crazy idea; but, it has worked for me in the past. Telephone the Benelli factory in Italy and ask to speak with a service representative that is conversant in English. Explain your service issues. Maybe, they will send you the Gunsmith Service Documents you need for self ser...

Greetings,

BB size shot is 0.18".

Rover may have found an economical practice round.

Also, being round, you cannot insert them backwards!!!

A 25 pound bag should last all Winter Training.

Re: Pardini SP bolt wear and failure to feed

Greetings, My friend shoots a Pardini SP NEW. Some things he discovered after many rounds down range. The area that encloses the 22lr case head in the bolt had peened smaller. A little work with a small file removed the burr. The hole for the recoil spring also had peened to a smaller diameter. The ...

Re: RWS R10 Pellet Pricing

Greetings,

$13.50 a tin of 500 at Champions Choice.

I did notice that the rifle have a yellow color and the pistol are blue.

Sometimes there is a sticker on the bottom of the can that may add more clues.

Re: Looking to get back into competitive pistol

Greetings, "Liquidating". I am not surprised. Walther sold the Haemmerli name to Umarex. Umarex only lists the X-esse and AP20. The SP-20 appears to be gone. I did contact Umarex for 280 parts and they said no longer available. Not sure if they will accept an older gun for repair. Walther ...

Re: AW93 all steel

Greetings,

A fellow shooter has an AW93 and has replaced the slide at least once.

Not sure of the cause.

Might be associated with using a recoil spring that is weak beyond specification and the slide was "hammering" the receiver.

A couple of questions: 1. When did RFP switch from humanoid to round targets? Greetings William, My 1989 Gil Hebard shows them for the first time. So, I suspect around 1988-1990. Tried to Google the revision history with no success. They have been modified once again by adding the two white lines o...

Does your testing suggest that a crimp offers better accuracy?

Generally, jacketed bullets for autoloaders are not crimped.
