FWB AW93 Cleaning - Scope removal

I have an Aimpoint Micro mounted over the bbl. For a thorough cleaning I will need to remove the Aimpoint to remove the slide. For those of you who have removed the scope (and marked the scope's position) how much "sighting in" was required for the long line? Thanks to all who reply.

AW93 Light - More Weight

Has anyone successfully mounted 2 40 gram weights on their AW93? I would like to add more muzzle weight in a nicer way than stick on wheel weights.

Re: Experience with Aimpoint T1 mount on Handguns (for S&W 5

Buy yourself an old, ugly 52. Drill that slide and mount your red dot as low as possible and get the right load for proper function. Keep the one you have pristine and beautiful.

Aimpoint Micro vs ML2 - Dot Flare

I switched from an Aimpoint ML2 to a Micro and the dot on the Micro appears as three distinct dots - like a Micky Mouse head. I do not have the problem with the older, larger ML2. Is this related to my eyeglass prescription and/or astigmatism?

Re: Hammerli 208S - 215S Slides

I have received my 208S slide back and both pistols are now in their original configuration. The slide exhibited slight peening and the extractor needed to be replaced - after 15 years.

Sako Triace

What is it like to shoot a Triace in 22LR? Is it similar to s 208S or AW93? Is it a desirable or undesirable pistol? Are parts available?

Re: Hammerli 208S - 215S Slides

Because the 208S slide is in for repair and I am used to my 208S. The 215S is my backup - very slightly different trigger feel - just used to the 208S - s 15 year relationship. Who can knock a 15 year relationship?!

Hammerli 208S - 215S Slides

Is it acceptable to put a 215S slide on a 208S? If not, I will just shoot my 215S.

Knobloch

I am farsighted with a pretty strong plus prescription - something like a +5. I have noticed the same thing as the original poster. My Knoblochs have two positions or holes for the right lens. I thought about experimenting with the two different holes - possibly using one for 50m and one for 10m.

I am farsighted. I found that as I aged and needed a stronger plus eyeglass prescription that I needed more and more light on either side of the front sight. Without the light everything started to blur - getting worse as the match continued. Not sure if other experienced this.
