Re: Infighting at USA Shooting
I am curious . . . never heard of board members not being protected from personal liability in connection with their duties on the board, especially from expenses incurred from legal fees. Many would argue not permitting indemnification or only allowing when a small executive committee approves it ...

Re: Front sight
Don't forget to seperate the two- you can have a perfect sight alignment and should. It's your sight picture where you see a perfectly aligned front post on a blurrly target while it wobbles around that grey blob. Just accept it, have a great trigger pull and call it like you see it.

Re: Front sight
Isn't seeing the gun relative to the target when the shot occurs the sight picture? To me seeing the sight picture doesn't mean focus isn't on the front post with proper sight alignment. You can have perfect sight alignment but you should also have an acceptable sight picture. Not calling a shot is ...

Re: Which beginner pistol to practice with?
The 717/747- would actually be as simple to cock left handed as right handed, i'm guessing that comment came from a right hander. Don't overlook the 717/747- it's highly accurate and value priced- which again if you're looking for one around 100 is a great first airgun to see if you'll use it. You m...

Re: Which beginner pistol to practice with?
Go with the daisy 717- has an adjustable trigger and costs around 150. The 747 cost more and has the walther barrel, but so far the 717 has been plenty accurate

Re: Spotting scope use
I've had a high master tell me you're not a man unless you scope each slow fire shot! His words not mine. Too me, I think folks are combining two separate things- scoping a shot as part of your shot process vs. the other separate issue of match pressure, which there are lots of different ways in han...

Model 41
I had the same problem, but the solution is more simple, place your thumb in the same spot each time along with your grip. If you do that, the safety won't click on.

Model 52-1 Problem
I have a Model 52-1; i use 148 hbwc with 2.6-2.7 of bullseye. The problem i'm having is that i'll load a full magazine, chamber the first round and when i squeeze the trigger nothing happens. Also sometimes happens when i do get a few rounds to go off, it will extract properly, load the next round b...
