In Australia imitation weapons are on the prohibited list.
If it even looks like a pistol it would need the same rego and licencing as a regular pistol.

Re: Handling Hearing Loss
I have had hearing aids for about 6 months [should have had them years ago]. I wear the electronic ear-protection over my Behind-the-ear aids. I am fortunate that it doesn't get the feedback that Spencer is probably referring to. BUT all hearing aids are different, so may not work covered. Experimen...

Re: Allowable Malfunction in Standard Pistol Precision?
That problem reads like you also put 10 shots up , and then score. As most Clubs do. It reads as if he had to reshoot the 5 shot series, he would have 14 shots on the target. That creates a problem if that malfunction is in the second series [last shot], before scoring. The rule is for 5 shots, then...

... but you have the moral and intellectual obligation, to argue why your views make more sense, are better, or at least are less bad. And that brings us to the essence of the problem. I applaud your appeal to intellectualism and making sense, but most discussions regarding firearms are essentially...

How do you get a flag and a round into the chamber and get the breach to close? That must be one sloppy chamber. Also for it to go off it required the breach to be closed and someone to pull the trigger. You don't. The breach doesn't need to close. The hard flag pressed on the case rim which was pr...

Thinking out-side the square and into the future, ROs will get lazy and just see something sticking out the breech and something out the barrel from a distance [ I think that is the intention of the rule ]. CLEAR The rule says nothing about trimmer line. Shooters get lazy and just stick something in...

Ah! The incredible Margolin. The barrel weights are various custom jobs. No factory ones, other than the 22short RF compensator, to my knowledge. 2 piece ones usually just screw together, and some are one piece that require the front sight to be removed, to remove the weight. The front sight is just...

But what is the problem with the current trigger weight, that needs to 'fixed'? Every pistol event has its own challenges in format, caliber, grips, trigger wt. etc. Thats what makes pistol shooting interesting to a large number of people. Is this just to gradually reduce the individual matches by s...

Re: Rapid fire stage
2. If you by accident discharge a shot at the start after "LOAD" but before the target turn away or red light start, stop shooting and raise your free hand. You will loose 2 point but it is far better than nothing. You must not continue! 8.6.6.2.3.1 The start of a serie : 8.6.4.9.4 Kent I...
