My Styer LP10 ( About 16 months old ) will blow a piece of tissue off the breach area , chrony test is good , groups are fine when I do my part .

I'm getting slightly in excess of 100 shots before I hit the yellow zone on the manometer , all seems normal .

Canada Targets in Gatineau Quebec makes good quality targets , they puncture cleanly and are easy to score . Jocelyn is a fine Gent to deal with , he handles a lot of stuff besides targets .

A young lady at our club has one , it seems a nice piece , she is very happy with it . As with any significant purchase , who has parts , who supports it ?

Our situation up here is a bit different , a new Ruger would cost more than in the US , aftermarket parts would be both a PITA to locate and costly . I've seen used GSP's in the 1200-1000 .00 $ Can. range . A pimped out , competition ready Ruger would be pretty close to $800.00 Can. For a couple hun...

Why do guys screw aropund with Rugers , for the cost of " pimping " a Ruger you can get pretty close to the price of a used Walther GSP . This will give you a fully competative piece , that will digest thosands of rounds , doesnt need springs , firing pins etc. replaced all the time ( 2-5k...

The LP50 and LP5 are extremly nice pistols . There are outher semis out there YMMV . My 50 is a joy to shoot and has been utterly reliable , I know another fella with a 5 , same experience . Buy , use and enjoy in good health . It is deffinatly the most fun rated match AP out there .

The plastic insert is a grip spacer . The Chrome plated cone eludes me . Instructions for adjusting trigger weight on both stages should be in your owners manual , if not try the 10p files on this site . You can also download a manual from the Styer website . If you aquired the gun on the secondary ...

By the time you " pimp " a Ruger or fiddle around with a S&W 41 you would have just about spent the price of a used GSP ( at least around these parts ) . They are hard to beat for reliability , there are often potfulls of interchangable parts around .. It seems to be a circle that lead...

Can't go wrong with a Walther GSP , lots on the secondary market , lots of parts . Very reliable , has the potential to take you to the top . With a good used one , you will always be able to get your money out of it .

I think it shows courage on FWB's part to introduce an apparently new pistol , when as we all know it's pretty much a Styer and Morini closed shop . I wish them well .

Lets be honest , we do enjoy little mini R&D projects , we all like to tinker . The will o the wisp is to find the magic combination , and get a magic increment for nothing . Personally , the only time I have been able to discern any difference , was between different weights ie: match rifle as ...
