- Topic: Benelli Kite or Pardini K2? Opinions?

Is there a reasonable consensus as to which pistol (the Benelli Kite or Pardini K2) is better? The advertised prices (~$1000) are about the same (in the USA) - and both pistols seem to have fans. But it's unclear if either pistol is actually superior (to the other). Of course, the answer (to my ques...

A poster on another website forum is also in New Zealand and is interested in purchasing a .22 pistol. Did you try Reloader's Supplies in Auckland? Or maybe that is the distributor you were talking about in the first place? According to the other guy, a transplanted Frenchman, Reloader's Supplies h...

My strong suit has always been slow fire, and I realized that I was shooting somewhat better scores when I shot a little faster, as opposed to my usual method of hanging the pistol out there and begging the trigger to break for 15 or 20 seconds. What seems to work a little better for me is to get t...

Same here. I HATE slow fire. Since I've picked up my single shot Air Pistol, I've intentionally avoided going to the range to shoot rapid fire .22. I'm trying to make a consious effort to slow down and take my time for each shot instead of my usual loading up five rounds and blasting away. Hence, on...

I also have trouble seeing the front sight in poor overhead lighting conditions. I prefer a lot of light over the sights. That's my experience, too, and I really need to do something about it. I don't have nearly enough lighting over my shooting position in my basement range. In the day, when I hav...

what sort of sight adjustemts are avaible, width of notch etc? From the Alfa manual, it looks like the notch on the rear site can not be adjusted (for width). If it helps, from the photo (in the Alfa manual), the rear sight looks identical to the rear sight on my Aeron Chameleon. Actually, there se...

I was looking at the alfa web site and noticed an Air Pistol that I don't believe that I've seen (for sale) in the USA - the Alfa Classic http://www.alfa-proj.cz/en/products/firearms/unlicensed-arms/co2/alfa-co2/ Granted, Alfa-Proj air pistols are not widely available in the USA, but I believe that ...

Re: I handled Walther LP300XT on mar. 24 th, but did no firi
It is the Walther LP300XT. Nice, grip is wood, featuring a gray matte finish. Grip finish same as that of the new walther SSP. Heard about, or handled the SSP, "joe 1347"? No? Maybe the new Walther is simply just rumors and gossip too, Joe? http://www.shootingwiki.org/index.php?title=Walt...

Re: APs of unequal userfriendliness and quality...
There have been some issues of the Tesro APs. Let us hope the factory will inprove on quality. The Benelli Kite has been with us for some time. Some issues, not an overly popular gun. Big, clumsy, not up to Steyr/Anschutz standards. Owners of "Kites" tend to trade them away, relatively so...

As for which is better. Steyr LP10 vs Morini 162EI (electronic trigger). Is there an advantage based on your shooting style? Or maybe the better way to put it, are certain air pistols much more forgiving is you don't follow or use a 'perfect' shooting technique? The thought is that a relative beginn...

Thanks for the suggestions. Both shining a desk lamp (75 watt Halogen) on the target as well as using some cardboard to block the overhead lighting helped quite a bit. I suspect that the best approach will be to just shine a very bright light on the target and turn off the overhead lights. The 75wat...

Focusing on Front Sight in Poor Basement Lighting?
I'm having a difficult time focusing on the front sight during Air Pistol practice in my basement and I'm guessing that it's primarily due to poor lighting since I can 'see' the front sight fairly well in bright lighting. Granted my vision is aging - but short of adding extra lighting in my basement...

Re: 747 problems
I have shot a izh 46 and a daisy 777 and i can shoot the daisy better despite the lesser trigger. I plan to buy a 747 and want to find good grips for 10m shooting. Also I would like to know if anybody out there has any comments on the pistol. Thanks I went though a search for 'match-style' 747 grip...

Re: NEW AP SHOOTER NEEDS INPUT ON GUNS
I'm not new to shooting (metalic, 10 m rifle, shotgun sports) but I just shot a izh 46m and im hooked. I'm low on cash and looking for a begining gun. I'm looking into an izzy, gamo compact, or a daisy 747 or 777 . If any body out there has advice, please give me a post. I know those guns are in di...

Don't even bother looking at those crap air pistols, no matter what the price. Look instead for a used top quality gun for the same money. Lots of people have dumped their CO2 guns for the dubious benefits of PCP. For example: you can get a Walther CP2 or CP3 for under $400 that was good enough to ...
